customer care
The Airtel customer care is the worst which I have experienced so far. The line gets gets disconnected no. of times.If u have gud luck that day and you are able to connect somehow..you encounter inexperienced customer care executives who even do not how to spell e-mail address of customer care.
That's a pain and a sorry state of affair..
I hope this comment would help in improving the services ..

yesterday(17.4.08) even though i didnt make a call 1.50 was detected y????
yesterday i didn't make a call 1.50 ps was detected why??... whats going is on???... why its happened??... kindly see that reason nd never happen again...

plz reintroduce 10 paise offer for FFA numbers
Hello sir i love Airtel i was a senior most subscriber for airtel services. I was using airtel for long period by the benefit of this 10 paise offer which is so good for subscribers like me.
But u had changed that offer to 25 paise which was not much interested for me to use it.so plz can u again introduce that 10 paise offer back plz sir Plz airtel is no 1 tower in andhra pradesh no other network is as nice as airtel.plz kindly forward my request to u r officials

Money deduction
i had activated GPRS on 6th april 2008 and i deactivated GPRS on 7th April 2008 but my money is being deducted till date that is 17 th April 2008. They said i would get the money back in 24 hours but not as yet it is goging to be 60 hours

not getting Postpai connection even i pay Amout for that

This is regarding AIRTEL .I have submitted all documents namount (599) dated 9-April-08 but till date i m not getting connection and also there. Executive name is DIVYA Her senoir Name Vikas didnt reply for that i have many times i called up but no reply.They Cheat me

Airtel -Calls to Qatar at 9.20p/m but was informed as 4.00 p/m
I have applied for Airtel connection through Frontline sales LTD. On 19/2/08.
Though I am a Vodafone holder, the reason for applying for airtel card was because of the international economical scheme offered by Airtel. These details were provided to me by Farah from Frontline Sales LTD. Further details of the scheme were as follow:
For international call from Mumbai to Qatar Rs 4 per min. without any security deposit as I have submitted the first page of my Credit Card.
The scheme sounded too good to be true & so I reconfirmed with the concerned person (Farah) before I could go with the further procedure. The reason was, I being Vodafone Customers for the past 7 years even they didn’t offer me such a good scheme.
Therefore believing Airtel was truly a Customer Oriented Services I went ahead with it.
On 19/02/2008, I received the SIM Card & on 22/02/2008 my connection was activated.
Till here everything went smooth…
It was on 25/02/2008, I called AirTel Customer Care for activating my International facility (since the main purpose for applying for Airtel was to avail the International Scheme benefits) the Customer Representative who attended to my call than informed me that I have to pay SECURITY DEPOSIT of Rs 1500/.
The trouble doesn’t end here…
Yesterday i.e. 16/04/2008, I again called up Customer Care to confirm the same wherein they told me that I had to pay the security deposit & the charges to call Qatar was Rs 9.20 paisa p/m & not Rs 4. P/m. (which was informed to at the time of taking the connection).IF now I compare the charges with the scheme offered by Vodafone, Vodafone appears to me cheaper.
My concern here is not that I have lost Rs 100 (which was the initial charges for the SIM card) nor do I have problem paying the Security Deposit. The problem here is I have been CHEATED. Had the things made clear to me at the start I would have still gone ahead with the connection (again considering that I daily need to make at least 10 calls to Qatar) which would have been profitable to your organization.
Though I know you people would still not do anything about my issue but just wanted to keep you aware on the things at happened at the base level. Again you have lost a trust of a customer who could eventually be a source of getting potential customers (as you know such business spreads more through word of mouth)

Deducted the amount from the account unnecessarly
Though i did not receive any GPRS activation confirmation SMS they deducted the charge.
It was continued next day as well.
At last i again deactived the GPRS service.

ACTIVATION DELAY
Dear Sir,
My name is Jagjeet Singh and using AIRTEl Connection. My mobile number is 9897685111. My complaint is that i had taken three numbers (9760006653, 9760006637 and 9760006639) from AIRTEL on my mobile number on 11-04-2008 out of which 2 numbers (9760006637 and 9760006653) get activated but one number (9760006639) didn't get activated. After that i went to AIRTEL office in Dehradun they told me that the third number they had given me is already in use by another person and i had taken a new number in place of that number (9760006672) on 12-04-2008, they again confirmed me that this number will get activated within 3 hours but till todays afternoon this number also didn't get activated, within these days i had given lots reminder to AIRTEL office but they haven't given me a proper response. Today's afternoon i again went to their office and again they had given me a new number (9760006657) in place of that third number and confirm me that this number will get activated with 2 hours but still this number is not activated. I want you to take necessary action against them. I will be very thankful of you.

security deposit
I had made an account transfer of an airtel postpaid connection from my father's name to my name and requested for the security deposit of Rs 1500(ISD services ) to be transferred from old account to new account. Only 650 Rs and an acitvation fee of 250 RS is reflected as security deposit and activation fee respectively. Lavanya (Mob : 9845003606) from Malleswaram 15 th cross airtel office was responsible for this transfer.I had been continuously calling her from past two months and no action has been taken. I have raised two complaints 16220808 and 16273932 in airtel customer care and both these were closed without resolution. When I called again today, they are not ready to take another complaint on the same. Please help
