Sir,
I am a subscriber to your mobile service bearing mobile phone no: 9895650858.I am a law college student studying in the Government Law College Trishur. On 25-03-2008 I received a message as follows “ Rs 50 = Rs 92. Talk time on Rs 50 get Rs 92 talk time. Rs 42 TT will be credited online the balance Rs 50 will be credited within 48 hrs. Details call 51571”
Inspired by the above message I recharged my mobile on that day at 7.8 pm. after confirming the message I recharged my mobile for Rs 50. as per your message I ought to have received your offer at 7 pm on 27-03-2008 but the offer was not made in time hence I contacted your customer care office on 27/28 – 03-2008 for about 6 times I was assured by the executive officer that my mobile phone will be recharged by the midnight on 27-03-2008 itself on the same day I received a confirmation message as follows “thank you for contacting airtel your request reference no: is 0327122650”.
But the offer was not satiated. I therefore contacted your customer care office at about 6.10 am on 28-03-2008 and I was assured that my problem will be settled within 11 hrs and I again received a confirmation message as follows “ thank you for contacting airtel your request reference no: is 0328004841. After the time limit of 11 hrs I again contacted your customer care executive officer at above 8.45 pm he assured that my problem will be solved within 3 hrs today is 29-03-2008. Till 4.30 pm the offer made by you is not materialized.
On enquiry made by me it is given to understand that you have done the foul play with other customers as well to grab money from them. You are well aware of that most of the customers will not care to asses whether their mobile phones are recharged as per your request since most of them are ignorant and illiterate. You are taking advantage of this vital aspect of the customer’s ignorance. I do not want to fall a prey to your bite. You made an offer and I accepted your offer but you did not perform your part hence there is a shear breach of contract on your part. There is deficiency of service on your part. I believe that you have been cheating me and others for all these years. Hence you are called upon to pay me a sum of rupees ten thousand towards compensation and damages within 15 days from today as otherwise I will be constrained to take legal steps against you on my behalf and for on behalf of other customers as well on public interest

Dear Consumers
I and my entire family is subscriber was Air Tel subscriber for quite some time. I got my airtel converted to prepaid after using for more than 2 years approx. During my connection as post paid and prepaid I has submitted documents and duly verified by company officials.
After one year my cell was discontinued stating reasons that my documents are not proper. I once again submitted my documents after two days cell started working.
Once again my cell has been discontinued with the same reasons “My documents are not proper”. I once again submitted documents. More than 24 hrs have passed still not connected. When called help line they say more 24 hrs are required.
I am irritated with Airtel company for arbitrator disconnection my cell. It is simple harassment to customers especially pre paid ones. It is my challenge to Airtel if they are company of repute let them show what documents are wrong.
Company should have thought before completely disconnecting cell phone at least allow incoming call for sometime like BSNL land lines.
My sincere suggestion to airtel new customers please take acknowledgement of all letters/documents given to Airtel office so you are not harassed.

Worst customer care of AirTel
I had Cancelled the my Mobile number and the number was Postpaid number.but still iam getting the mobile bills.and also deduduting the amount from my account.

unable to send national sms( but no problem with local sms)
I got problem with sending national sms. each time I send, it comes as "check network services". I tried by using another handset. I complaint many times to the customer service centre where I got only assurance but not the rectification for the problem. I am very much dissapointed with airtel service. Airtel, please contact me at 9894160655 if u can?

Hi,
Iam SHANKAR.G Mobil number 9900520061 and I have been facing the unnecessary charges of 60/- Rs for a SMS “64611030DWN_PRM” which I have not send at all. AS per my knowledge I am facing this problem First time. Iam 100% sure I have not send any SMS to “64611030DWN_PRM” .I don't want any other extra services apart from calling, Receiving, sending and Receiving only text SMS to friends. I will not pay this bill till I get the corrected bill from AIRTEL.
I don't want to be back of AIRTEL for refund ding my amount. I don’t want to walk down to the airtel outlet several time and waste my time for this, Please advise me what to do.
Please do the needful ASAP...

adding insult to injury
Since a month-my voice mail service hasnt been working. While I do get sms from Airtel asking me to dial 56733 or some such series, each time I call..it says invalid!
11th mar-I complained -and was promptly given a ref number with an assurance it wd be resolved the same day. Following 5 days everyday some new person kept calling and asking me what my problem was..and that they wd resolve it immediately
And since the last 7 days..while I am fed up of complaining, I get a new series of sms" we hope u are satisfied with the resolution provided for your request'

Deactivated without proper instruction!
I have subscribed Airtel lifetime validity card on nov 2007.I have received incoming till jan2008 and mid of jan my card was totally deactivated. i have tried several times to the customer care and got the feedbcak i have to check the number whether it is airtel or come other. like that customer care is working. Then i walked in to customer care office and got the feedback that they have not received the proof. Without giving the proof no one can get the card form the retailer.
Even though they have to inform me before deactivation. very poor service and in my life time i wont prefer AIRTEL and i will advice my friend too.

gprs
Even on deactivation of GPRS airtel has charged me some 500 rupees GPRS again. Last time i paid the GPRS charges of Rs. 700 without asking though they seemed unreasonable.
I do not want to pay unreasonable charges especially when i have disactivated the service.
