advertisement calls
i get too many advertisement and tele-marketing calls and msgs from AIRTEL on my mobile throught the day.it is causing too much disturbance.

Terrible service!
From yesterday 19-03-2008 the calls to Germany from India thro Airtel Mobile and landline have been indefinitely cut and unable to have any contacts to our people in Germany. If contacted with Airtel authorities nobody is replying positively and reply that everything is fine. Is it the way that airtel is handling its customers? Shame on airtel services. Our customers in Germany were unable to be contacted urgently.

Terrible company!
I had purchased the simcard of Airtel 222 scheme in the month of January 2008. I was informed at that moment that I will be getting full talktime 111 at the time of buying and balance 111 on the next recharge. After that I have done 2 recharges but have got my balance 111 Rs. talktime. I have made several complaints at the customer care no and spoke to various people like Chandrakant, Manisha, Nagesh to name a few. Everyone had the same answer Sorry for the inconvenience and will be done within 24hrs but yet the complaint is pending. I visited the airtel gallery twice but there the systems were not working. I swear I am really fed up.

Non activation of new number!
I am already using an airtel number and applied for change in number yesterday at 11:00 AM at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi outlet. The executive told me it will be done with in 4 hours... But its been more than 24 hours and still they have not yet send my request for change in number.

Suffered a great loss coz of airtel!
I have taken a new airtel connection, but with in 24 hours my outgoing and incoming has been barred since 5 daz am roaming behind the dealer he is saying he has submitted the documents but still i dint retrieve connection. Its so sad that such a giant company has no attention towards their customers. I have missed 3 meeting calls coz of this airtel now. At least i cant call customer service to launch my complaint as my out going calls r barred they should at less provide flexibility to call customer service.

Price uncertainty!
Air tel has launched by saying it’s available in more than 200 countries, then they had withdrawn it, they started with only India calling... But what I can see now they had again come with 27 countries... GOD! How I can trust this service?? Who knows tomorrow they will remove the country for which I had subscribed for... there is so much uncertainty...

Phones not disconnected!
I have asked for conversion of one of our mobile numbers to pre-paid. I have made requests thrice. It has still not been done. I had asked for one of our landlines to be disconnected. This also was 3 months back. Until now nothing has been done.

Misled phone service!
I was offered a plan by an airtel sales person, he took 600 rs from me but I was never reverted back and when I called up airtel cust service they said that they are unable to help me at all. I am with airtel for 2 years now but still their customer service sucks.

Cannot send sms!
For over 5 days I have been unable to send SMS messages. Can receive but when I try to send the boax says error. I have telephoned 121 for the past three days at least 20 times. Whenever I get a customer care executive, either I am cut off in the middle of the call or am told that someone will get back to me. In one case I did get a call from someone speaking Hindi--I had opened for English-- but when I followed instructions there was no improvement. SMS's to 121 do get sent and I have sms'd at least 10 times to be told each time that my complaint will be serviced in 24 hours. Its is now more than 72 hours. Airtel is not bothered and there is no other way to complain.

Shifting delay!
I have five connection with Airtel, two of my connection is used for my business purpose. On 23rd February, I made a request for shifting my telephone lines to a new address(within a city - Delhi), to which we were informed that it would be done with 4 working days. Its almost 10 days and there has been no action taken on the same. I was amused to find out that like any other government organization, Airtel people were least bothered to inform us that process will take longer than the committed time. Till the time we didn't called them, they were least bothered about our request. Now Airtel is becoming worst telecom provider as we had two more lines of M TNL which was duly transfered in less than ten days. I would suggest if you are going in for a private player in telecommunication thinking you are going to get a better service we would recommend to think about it.
I am thinking of disconnecting all five lines and go for Tata or Reliance, at least one can carry it if they are just shifting their base within 5 KM.
