Unauthorized billing!
Recently Airtel has developed a new strategy for being eco-friendly. They do not issue receipt for the payments made towards the bills. They say that they would immediately send an email in this regard. They conveniently forget to send the mail. When we try to contact their customer care in this regard, they give very lousy answers. When we request them for details as to whom we can contact in this regard they flatly refuse to give information and state that they do not have details in this regard. The payments made are not updated to their database.

Scam offer!
Recharged my card per ShubLabh Diwali offer, and per terms and conditions of the offer the gift hamper was supposed to reach the recipient in India within 30 days. The gift hamper was never sent. Airtel customer service agent conceded that this was their normal business practice of --> delay, deny and then defend themselves... It is unfortunate that Airtel indulges in such deceptive business practices to boost its revenue from customers based in USA. I do see the same type of complaints from other people all over the web, and so there is a pattern.

Horrible service from Airtel!
Couple of weeks back I took an Airtel instant postpaid connection But from then onwards I am facing thousand problems in the connections and millions of harassments. Within the last 10-12 days my outgoing was barred twice. This time I personally visited the Airtel service center in Andheri-Kurla Road Mumbai (in front of the CRISIL office). This was the place from where I took the connection. There was someone named Maria served me and every time I was asked to wait for some 4-6 hours to get the problem solved. I also contacted the service center (9892012345) few times. People simply were not interested in my problems. There were playing games. At the end nothing happened. So I walked down the service center and handed over my kit and the sim to them because they are of no use to me.

discocennted without any infromation
hi,
all of sudden by airtel number got disconnect ,
i lanched acomplint to the customer care they said frist it will get actived in 2 hours late on the next day they say to me that your perpaid number had been used on the tarining due to which its got permently disconnected
without infroming us how can they use my number for their tranning .this is services given to the airtel people in mumbai .siltt date the number has not been actived
so i would advices peoplenot to use airtel at all.

Billplan change
I THOUGHT airtel is BEST. I realized airtel is WORST.
I sent 6 mails to change my bill plan. Those bloody rascals didn't take any action. Again I called to customer care and raised two requests for the same issue. The day after tomorrow 2 guys from airtel called me and I told my problem. Those guys told that we will get back to you with in an hour. Stupid rascals didn't come back. Every month I am paying some thousand rupees to these irresponsible airtel. I am completely unsatisfied with this WORST airtel. And my number is 9902065578

Unauthorized deduction of balance!
The Service Provider Airtel Deducted many time my balance unauthorized. They even not feedback the position & Cause of such deduction.

talktime not given as sent in the offer message
I have an airtel prepaid connection. On 8th december i got an offer message that if i recharged on 8th dec for Rs. 888 i would be given a talktime of Rs. 786. But this didn't happen. i was given a taltime of Rs.665 only. inspite of me complaining more than ten times at the airtel customer care number, i haven't been given the balance amount till now(18th dec07). people sitting there at the customer care numbet just send me a request reference number and do nothing else. this makes me feel very sick of this airtel.

Poor AirTel services!
I had applied for a new airtel postpaid mobile connection at Jaipur. Towards this, I had given a copy of my driving license, a copy of my PAN card and also a copy of my Passport. All these were towards verification of my identity and proof of residence. I had also paid a sum of Rs.500/-(Five Hundred Only), as directed by the company desk executive. Thereafter, I was assured that the SIM card which was given to me would become active within 24 hrs. However, despite reminding the company executives several times the SIM remained inactive even after five days. Thereafter, when I decided to return the SIM, due poor Services, in order to get my money back, the same company executives informed me that the procedure for returning money is quite tedious and will take three days minimum, so it would be in my favor to continue with the Airtel, whose services were yet to deliver, rather than try and return the SIM. I was harassed by the company executives and now I have vowed never to buy any Airtel SIM card in future. I will also discourage my friends and relatives to opt for Airtel Services.

International call activation!
I have taken post-paid connection (Rs.999 for 1 years) plan from Airtel Delhi in May'06. At that time I have asked Airtel executive about the international calls. He had told me the call rates of the international calls. When I called up on Airtel customer care, they said I need to pay 1500/- IRS or it will be activated after six month. Now six month have passed when I called up on Airtel customer care again they said I need to pay 1500/- other wise you can't get this facility.

Cheated!
There was a shublabh offer for a recharge money for which they give a deadline. After recieving their email we need to reply them with the address in indiawhere they send the gift hamper. I had done that twice and still they say haven't received, i have a copy of both the emails. Then they said the 2nd email received was after the deadline... which is again wrong, i asked need to speak to supervisor, well !!! supervisor is not on floor ,, will be available after 4 hours ..which would be midnight time in usa... need to be awake just to speak to them... airtel running buisness without a responsive person on duty... then representative says, well he is in an urgent meeting... LOOKS TO BE ALL FAKE ANSWERS TO COVER UP. I ASKED FOR THE NAME OF THE SUPERVISOR, SHE SAID NOT ALLOWED TO TELL... CANNOT TRUST AIRTEL ANYMOREEE... cheating people.
