Pathetic service
I have got 2 connections of airtel and i was promised that i will be getting good network. But the network was so bad that when i tried to complain them while i was in my house then the number would not get connected at all. I had to leave the comforts of my house and try to reach them. All the outgoing calls, i had to go out and make calls. Now, for incoming calls, i had no specified time such that i go out and hold my cell phone in air for it to receive the signal. Not that i stay in some remote location. I stay very much in Thane city and have been using vodafone network and reliance network with no problem.

At the time of connection, i had paid 500 rs deposit for each connection. When i got my first bill, i complained to them saying, i have bad network and i will not make the payments till i get proper network. They said, they knew the problem and that they are working on it. They requested me to pay for the phone calls i have made and not pay the rent. This was repeated for couple of more months.
But now i am tired of this phone service. Infact i have to provide service to airtel by leaning out of my window and talking to people and risking my life. The so called free incoming calls never reach me and my friends complain saying you are never reachable. And i say, its not me, its Airtel that is never reachable.

Having said all this, i want Airtel to refund my deposit of 1000 rs (500 rs each connection). They want me to pay the bill that i have received which i dont agree to pay at all. They are asking me to pay for the calls that i have made. Who will compensate for the incoming calls that were free to me but i could never get any of them. Who will compensate for the pain that i have gone through when trying to reach my dear ones (remember the leaning out of window act).

Having said all this, i would appreciate if airtel tries to improve the service rather than fighting with me on petty amounts which i will never pay to them and instead refund me the money that i have paid to them as i can never ever think of continuing to use this service which has traumatized me to this extent.

poor service & undue deduction of money from my balance
I am using airtel’s GPRS from 5-6 months.

But from 2 months I am loosing Rs11.99 successively even when my GPRS is not active. I complaint to customer care, & they refund me Rs 11.99 after 48 hr.
But in that 48 hr i loose another Rs 28 (Rs 11.99 + 11.99).

And i cannot make another complain whithin that 48hr, otherwise i have to wait for next 48hr from last made requist.

This is repeating from 2 months. They apologize for that & says it will not happen again. But it is happening again & again.

Now the condition is more worst! They stop refunding the amount, but the deducting process is still on. I cant understand what to do...


Airtel's service is too poor.

It is just WORST!!!!!!!!!!

not getting sms from pc to phone
sir, while entering my mobile no 9704467100 it shown that it is a invalid no in yahoo while all my friends nos are accepted.

refund
i had been facing the problem from last 2 months.
in august 2007 i had an outstanding of Rs 20805/=,the details of the apayment i made are as;
cash 10000/=
cheque 5500/=
citi bank credit card 5305/=
icici bank credit card 10805/=
i had made an excess payment of rs 10805/=.
i called customer care & told them about this,& they refused to pay this amount back.
i started writting mails to airtel regarding the same,who first assured me of the best service.
in sept they adjusted the sept month bill from the excess payment.
in continuation to this i was told that your excess money will be adjusted in your monthly bills.
i had already mentioned in my mails to airtel that refund my money as i have to pay an interest @ 3.25% p/m on this amount.
on 18th oct 2007 i recieved a mail from airtel where i was told to deposit the sept bill amount & we will refund the whole amount(Rs 10805/=) back.
on 19th oct i deposited the amount by cash.
on 20th oct i recieved a shocking mail that your money will not be refunded.this is the major issue i had been facing from last 2 months.
another issue is that i had not recieved my bills from last two months ,reason being that i had a negative outstanding amount.
i have to claim my mobile expenses from my company for which i have to submit the original bill & they still refusing to give a hard copy,whose is to blame.
pls help me in this matter

Arrogant Customer Care Executive
hi, i am darshan and i had called up Airte Customer Care(121) on 13th Nov 2007 at 5:12 pm. he asked me my mobile number i replied the number, i was bit fast in tellin my number, so the executive replied to me saying that your are to fast in telling the number so i can't solve your problem and disconnected the call. it shameful on the part of airtel for such negligence

Not Good Support To Consumer By Airtel
Hi,
This is Amit Yerunkar staying in Mumbai. I purchased the Mobile Prepaid card of the "Airtel Everywhere" lifetime sevice pack on the 11th of November in the Erla, from Classic Comunication shop (Vile Parle, West) Of Rs. 999 with new sim card of Rs. 100 of no.8991920702113202741 for mobile no. 9867523121 by submitting all the eligible documents for varification in the name of the my father on 12 November. There is only Rs. 10 talk time for first time so, I was made recharge of 100 Rs. at the same time in the same shop.
The person named Mahesh a operator who made activation from that shop was told me that check the balance the amount on 123 and my card will activate with in 5 min. But now todays are gone no activation done by AIRTEL till. Whenever i tried to make SMS or call from mobile only one message is given by Airtel that my service is not active and please call on 9892012345 for activation of card. I tried so many times to call and take help of AIRTEL Consumercare No. But not any good respond from them, just ringing phone. And the person "Mahesh" is also not giving good responce to me about my complaint.
I think AIRTEL not having staff to care the consumer's requiredments, there are only want to make fool to people using famous celebraties for their service, and capture market of telecom. They have very poor, sory not poor worst service provider in World.
If i was know that they have such bad service to cosumer i was appraoch to other service provider. Now I am looking for AIRTEL GALARIES for consumer care service, if any one know about the Service Provider near Andheri , please give me address so I can go overthere and enquire about it.
In short I want to blame AIRTEL but, approch have to make friendly towards consumer and give them proper guidance, if u can't it's very shy to say to me
"Your company that you can't do good public relation with normal consumer, You cahnge slogan to Expoide Yourself incase of Express Yourself. ".

Cannot recharge
Dear sir,

My Mobile No is 9867452006.

I have taken top of voucher of Rs.60 from a genral store of Airtel ( Mumbai circle ) to recharge on 10.11.2007. but could not recharge till 14.11.2007. and every time I contact the coustemer service and they always says that wait for 24 hours and your service will start, but this series is going on and they could could not help me to recharge the voucher. and 2 time thev also given me a request no on 10.11.2007 No .1110656863 and on 12.11.2007. No. 1112654553. now I am helpless and my balance is only 1 Rs. so i can not call any body. Please help me.

problem in creating C.U.G in my airtel friends pack.
sir,
my mobile no is :9895348307. its an airtel friends pack and i had created a group of 5 members about 1years ago. inorder 2 delete 2 members and join some other members we all decided to break the existing group after consulting the customer care.we got it brocken very easily. but,now the problem is that we are not able to create any new group further even after trying from last few days.all are maintaining the minimum balance of Rs30 and none of this numbers are lifetime scheme.so, please take necessary measures to solve this problem.

cancellation of internet
i have earlier asked for cancellation and there is no responce so i am cancelling it again.
