DEDUCTION OF AMOUNT WITHOUT DIALLING A NUMBER
MY MOBILE BILL IS GETTING DEDUCTED WITHOUT ANY DIALLING A NO. I HAVE NOT ENEN SUBSCRIBED FOR ANY FACILITY ON MY PHONE, NUMBER OF TIMES I DISCUSSED WITH CHITTORGARH AIT TEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING PROPER ANSWER AND SHIFTING THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY FRUITFUL RESULT. KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL. SERVICES OF CHITTORGARH DEVISION IS VERY POOR, KINDLY IMPROVE IT. DAILY AROUND RS.2-3/DAY AMOUNT IS BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY PREPAID CARD.

NO Out Going Std calls
I hav called customer care 5 times in last 15 days but every one of them is listening complaint again an again but not solving... man marta hai ma behan ki sunao......

Validity of My Phone has not increased 5 months
Airtel Provides 499 recharge offer to get 6 months validity and 200 rupee talktime BUT they gave me 1 month validity and 200 rupee talktime.
i have recharged it with 499 on 17 oct 2007 till then no action
performed on that i have complained this thing to airtel customer care office.

LIFE OF LIFETIME AIRTEL CARD IS ONLY 03 DAYS
My Wife Purchased Rs. 350 Lifetime Airtel card from Telephone Shopee Pune on 15th Sept. 2007. Documents were submitted on same day. Agent of the Telephone Shopee Pune assured that SIM will be started in 03 days. Phone also started but only for 03 days. After that SIM immediately stoped functioning. When Inquired they asked to submit papers again. This Happened thrice. On 30Th Oct. when papers were submitted to AIRTEL Pune Office, they said it will start by tommorow 31st Oct. 2007. But when inquired we informed that this number is Closed and it could not be retirived again. This SIM is Invalid. In all the Process we lost 350+100 Recharge money and more over that lots of tension and unneccessary strain and worry. She has given Numbers in her Interviews for JOB, and god knows how important opportunities we might have lost.
This all happened becouse of no cordination between TELEPHONE SHOPEE and AIRTEL.
So my humble request is avoid both the CO's.

VALIDITY OF OPERATION
I have purchase a Sim for 6 Years validity throu, your advertisement. I was told by the Airtel Office that 365 SMS
shall be given free and validity of the SIM is 6 years. However after activation I found that only 2 Yrs and 9 Months validity
has been given and NO Free SMS of 365 days.

I would like to now why your Advertisement and actual activationl is varying? Airtel should keep-up their promises
as advertised. Why it has not been carried?

No proper reply is given by the Customer Service on my querry.

recharge facility is not avilable in mahaboobnagar
it is a big problem for many customers in mahaboobnagar town in andhrapradesh as there is no rechagre avilable for the past three days.what do u suggest to do.

Unwanted missed call alert service
Dear all,

I have an airtel prepaid connection and I am a person who talks to the point on mobile and I prefer not wasting my mobile balance for gossips etc.

This all started in march 2007, when I got a sms from airtel customer care:

"Rs 15 have been deducted from your account for your last VAS download. Thank you for using Airtel missed call alert service." Of course not willing to pay 15 Rs for missed call alert, I immediately called customer care. After much of "Please wait, maa'm, I will check", I got an answer from the customer service guy that the service was given because "I asked for it". Shocked by this invention, I told him that never in my life have I requested such service by call, sms or reply to call or reply to sms with airtel customer service and there is some error in airtel database. The person adamantly told me that "If our system says that you have asked for it, you have asked for it." I again told the person that I have never requested such service. But like a taped message, his reply was the same. "If our system says that you have asked for it, you have asked for it."

I requested the customer fellow that if he says that I asked for 'Missed call alert' service, he should produce me proofs and date and time, when and by which medium have I asked for missed call alert service. The person said that "Sorry Maa'm, We cannot disclose the information." After much of argument, The person told me that they would not refund the 15 rs deducted, and If I want that next month 15 Rs not deducted, I should sms mca cancel to 511 and confirm within 24 hours that the service is really canceled.

Helpless, but not willing to lose Rs 15 again next month, I sent the sms to 511. When called to ask whether the missed call alert service is canceled, I got a reply from customer care that "The service is still active, but it will surely be canceled within next 24 hours."

Next month when I saw Rs 15 deducted again, I immediately called customer care and informed about the matter. Again I got the reply about "sms mca cancel to 511, will be canceled in next 24 hours" etc etc. This time also I sent the sms. I also mailed to [email protected] about this. Git an automated reply "your request will be processed within 24 hours." But no one from customer care reached me about complaint.

Now 7 months are over since I first called customer care. 15 X 7=105 Rs already deducted form my account. I resent the complaint mail 4 times. Every month I send sms about canceling missed call alert service, every time new customer care guy tells me that this time the service will surely be calceled, and next month I again see Rs 15 deducted from my account.

Is there any other way than sending sms about canceling a service and being restless because it is not canceled, or talking to any tina, mina or asif from airtel call center and their false promices?

Duplicate SIM is activated but balance and validity is not updated
I have taken a duplicate SIM from Airtel office in Koramangala branch almost a month ago. Till now I am not able to use it. I have validity till April 2008 and a balance of 700+. After my repleted visit to there office for two weeks(around 7 times) I am able to see signal ie, sim is active. However I am not able to see my balance and validity. When I press *123#, I see that balance is zero and validity is unknown( a symbol '- '). For this again visited number of times, I called them repeatedly. I raised complaint in custom care of airtel, but till now the problem is not resolved. The nearest Airtel office is around 12Km from my place, I have travel all the way from there. They say that it will resolved in 24hours.

Can I raise a complaint in consumer court through Online?

No refund!
I have been using my number from Airtel from 5 years the number is (9890284719). from last month my 121 calling is blocked. The amount from my account got deducted drastically. I thought I may be calling a lot. I went to check my net and it was still active. I immediately sent to Airtel head office in pune (Vega Centre) the support girl informed me that the same will be sorted in 2 days. Its been 6 days the issue is still going.

Neither my GPRS was disabled (which was enabled by Airtel) nor I got refund nor 121 was enabled. This is pathetic service provided by airtel and the every day my Rs. 14.99 is getting deducted :(
