Fraud & cheating!
I have complained to airtel many a time through customer care, that i don't need services of hello tunes on my telephone. Inspite of it, they are keeping hello tune and charging money for that. Everytime they say that they have deactivated this service, but everytime i am charged for this service in my bill. This is nothing, but cheating the customer forcibly!

Abuse language and irresponsibility of Airtel employees
This may seems like a regular comment by many more persons in this site, and you may seen many many similar postings against airtel.

One day i've called airtel customer care on their mobile number and i'm not getting his (ccare guy) voice and he told me to speak a bit louder and i've tried several times to the same number as it disconnected after 10 sec's. And atlast i can able to speak one guy and he is really very arrogant and the words he spoke to me is never heard by me and i cant write them here. Their service is worst and the response is also worst.

Can anyone answer how they are getting business even after doing such nonsense?

The gprs connectivity is poor and signals is always unreachable even after sitting in the same building where tower is placed.

Airtel people are very lazy(not applicable to 121 ccare people) even after submitting papers also in a airtel office 10 days later you have to face intruption in services due to non submission of papers etc. And in that sms they mention call customer care after disconnecting the service. If we try to dial 121 outgoing is barred to 121 also. How the customer call ccare using the bloody airtel service.

They are brainless.

If i write all problems of airtel, the space in this server will be over still i'll be short of something.

Conversion of Post-paid to Pre-Paid card
Request was given to convert my postpaid connection to pre-paid 25 days back. Was promised this would be done within 5 working days but still not completed.

I've been calling Airtel customer care since last friday but invein - My postpaid to got disconnected and finally i'm without a phone for the past one week.

Every time i call customer care i'm told that my line would get activated by end of day but this seems to be a nightmare to me.

Poor service!
I have two life time Airtel connection for my two mobile phones. The numbers are 9800280031 and 9800280034 .While taking the connection I submitted copy my Driving Licence as a document. The problem is whenever I am calling from BSNL land phone to these Airtel nos. It is telling " please check the numbers you have called". I am facing connectivity problem for these two numbers.

Wrong billing
I purchased a plan call 2 -landline no 46036458, in which along with 450 mb of Internet download ,there was provision of free calls to two mobile numbers of my choice. Very first Bill showed that calls to those two mobiles were being charged at normal rates.Emails to customer care, a dozen phone calls, submitting the proof for the plan I purchased through fax and by hand delivery etc etc were all waste.

They do not read Emails, they do not check faxes, phone executives are mere symbolic, they are neither equipped by intelligence or knowledge of their own system nor they want to record and understand your grievance. On every call you have to repeat and re-narrate your problem to each one of them! Of-course no result comes out. In the end I happily allowed them to disconnect my phone!

Very rude customer service
We have a branch office in our campus. Looking at the large number of subscriptions a branch office was opened at our office campus. Opens office at 11AM when most of the employees arrive at 8AM. Also the customer service representative in this office is very rude. This lady does not have manners to talk to people. She does not show respect to customers.

Mobile No. 9890421880 has been hijacked!
I am Baskaran CE, satisfied customer of AirTel for long, but termination of service of my number since 20 September 2007 without any notification has made me to change the impression about AirTel's Service. What further add to my agony is that same number 9890421880 is being used by some other customer.

Since, this number holds all my communications, I have been put into lots of stress for the last 10 days. Further, to state that I had validity till November and balance for communication, I may please be advised how can i get my number back and my grievances would be addressed.

No proper responce on gprs net connect & debit amount.
Dear Sir,

there are two parts of the compliant

1. GPRS net connection
I bought a new cell HTC P3400, which is supposed to be operating on Airtel network only in India.,
I'm trying very hard to fetch GPRS NET CONNECT., Tried calling up customer care 121, 9890098900 , almost made 20 calls till date for last 8 -10 days.,

I got GPRS ACTIVATED via a sms, but phone setting sms is not responding back to connect , while speaking to executives in customer care, they say, this handset may not be GPRS Compliant, & if at all.. they are not been brief about it yet.,

also, recently there was Rs.150 debited to my prepaid card , without any information., i still don't know why.

please help me

Poor service!
I am getting marketing calls on my Airtel phone. When asked to customer service about why I am getting such calls, they said it is by default. I asked if I had given them permission, they said that it is by default. if you want to deactivate, i can take a request and it will be deactivated after 45 days! (not 45 hours)! This is not good at all.

First of all, such calls should not be allowed at all without permission of the a/c holder. and if it is active, it should not take so long for deactivating. Especially when it is active without the permission of the a/c holder.

Deficiency in services!
I wanted my existing internet connection functional in my another room too where Airtel Land Line connection already existed. It took 21 days of patience and perseverance to get it done after continuous reminding. Their commitment that after every 4 hours delay Rs 100/- will be credited to the complainant was requested to be implemented. My e-mail was replied after about 4 weeks through auto generated reply that delay in replying is regretted and my complaint has been forwarded to concerned dept for their action. I am still awaiting reply/action to refund as per their commitment.

Beware people!
