Unethical business practices!
Airtel has few bad policies and one of them which i don;t like is that... they are the only authorized seller of HTC Touch, Price worth 20,000 and if any customer shows interest, he is forced to purchase the same without giving any demo of the piece. This is very ridiculous and unethical.

Can't Airtel afford to keep the demo piece or its like they have started taking customers for granted.

Poor service!
I want my Driving License number whose photocopy i had submitted at the time of registration. I also talked to one of your customer care executive but as per him these kind of informations is not updated in your database. So please let me know to whom i should contact to get the same smb!

Poor service!
Airtel is horrible in the customer care service. I think they have no right to be in the market. Shey should close all their outlets. First is that no body is in sync with each other, Everybody says different information. Secondly is that the concerned person is at his will to accept the request... just on your face they refuse to accept the requests.

It is PATHETIC!

Unauthorized charges!
Nothing to say too much,

The company AIRTEL (BHARTI ) who claims to be the India's No-1 in Telecommunications has left a NO SATISFACTION in my mind have decided not to use it again in the future and do not recommend anyone to take a new one of Airtel.

I have activated internet feature in my mobile by paying the amount of 249 for a month, CCO told that will be activated within 24 hrs, after waiting for said time I again called the Customer Care that Is It activated on my Number, what happened basically it was activated but the Customer Care Executive has not understood my Query and he just deactivated the Internet feature god knows why?

Than after waiting for 48 hrs again I called the Customer care but my call was not getting Connected and IVR info was to send SMS to customer care and I know that If by talking a CCO is unable to solve the Query then how anyone can solve the query or better say problem by SMS.

After getting frustrated I called up my friend who was working there in the same Customer Care as TEAM LEADER and he told about my whole account details that this was just all fault of a CCO.

So I basically mean to say that why to use the service which is not giving better satisfaction to the Customer.

Unsuccessful recharge - Amount Deducted from my account!
I had recharged my prepaid mobile using the facility offered by Airtel and Citi on the 4th of August 2007. Under this facility you can recharge you prepaid mobile by sending the recharge denomination with a four digit password to 530.

On the above the date, Airtel had debited my account with Citi, but had failed to recharge my mobile. I had called up the customer care to register my complaint, and they have alloted me a complaint no:080718540100.

After registering my complaint number whenever i called up the customer care to know the status of my complaint, either Airtels server is down or the customer service executives keep asking me questions instead of answering my questions.

Airtels service is pathetic, customer care is useless. Through this mail i would like to request all those who can read this mail:- PLEASE DO NOT USE AIRTELS SERVICES - MOBILE OR OTHERWISE. PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE TO OTHERS AS WELL.

Poor service!
I am using Airtel mobile services. At odd hours I receive product/service related promotional calls from Airtel. I have telephonically as well b SMS informed them not to send me such calls. I want to stop these nuisance as it disturbs me in afternoon and at odd hours. I have categorically told them I am not interested in such information as I am satisfied with present package. Inspite of that time , they continue disturbing me.

I am now seriously thinking to do something special!

Directory inquiry not working
Since a week time I am not able get directory inquiry service at Phone No: 197 . I tried at 121 and they replied several times there is no other go and try again 197. I tried for about 20 minutes continuously. But I am not getting 197. I find the services of airtel is coming down.

Confusing bill!
I bought a blackberry and mobile connection from Airtel, a decision I consider as one of my worst. I bought both on 27th April 2007, one day before I had to leave for US. Blackberry was not enabled properly and as a result all my mails started bouncing putting me and my company into a huge embarrassment. I had to call from US to ask Airtel to disable blackberry. Meanwhile Airtel sent a bill with bill entries running into three pages with more than 60 entries for a total of less than 10 calls made/received.

My office made complaints over mail/telephone. I must have received more than 10 calls each time from a new person inquiring why I have not paid my bill threating that the connection will be disabled. Fact is I have not even switched on my Airtel number from May till date.

I would like request any good lawyer to fight my case. I am happy to spend Rs.50,000 to fight Airtel over a bill amount of Rs.10,000.

Save me from 121 .. a bunch of untrained idiots!
Things have come to such a pass now that it seems hilarious and a scene out of comedy of errors.. but that is how Airtel 121 operates. I had to transfer my cellphone from my company's name to my name .. on contacting Airtel 121, the first time I was promptly handed over a "concern or complaint number" & was told that someone will pick up the necessary paperwork. The person came to collect papers and told me that my connection will be transferred in 48 hrs.... 96 hrs. or four days later I called up Airtel & was told to wait. I did .. After seven days I called up again & was told that the verification was to be done. On asking what the hell was that.. I was told that someone needs to verify the address.... this should have taken place within 48 hrs but "the other department" failed to put in a verification request... I was also told that the verification will take place the same day. Of course nothing happened. Next day I spoke to a different person. Of course he did not read or tried to get familiar with the details of the case.. but started advising me that it is normal for such things to take 48 hrs.. He also promised me the same day service and assured me that he was not like others.... Day 8.. some idiot calls me and tells me that he is at my company address for verification of the address... Of course he hanged up promptly when I pointed out the address. I called the gods at 121 again and this time another person assured me that he will make sure that this guy is straightened out and the verification is done immediately. He claimed that my experience so far was with morons of 121 and he was the real guy. Day 9... I get a sms that the resolution of my concern must have been up to my satisfaction and thanks for using airtel. .... I called up the gods again.... this time the goddess assured me that she will follow up and the verification will be done immediately before noon.. she also promised to take up the matter with the "other department" that sent me the sms..... Well they did call me in the afternoon and said that "no such owner exist at the address.. or something.. " meaning that someone had come for verification.. well another lie as perhaps I know my address and I live at my address... also my maid and mother is always at home. On pointing this out to the 121 goddess.. she of course said that she will forward a complaint.. and once again she was not like others... By the way that day I was home all the time due to another Airtel screw up on my bill.

These guys are completely untrained.. do not have any customer orientation and never ever read the details before talking to the customers. You have to explain the same thing to thirty people none of them understands the complete picture and they act like well "gods" and infallible.

Each one of them promises to get back to you within hours if not the same day.. but they never do. Even now after speaking to one of them four hours back, I am waiting for their call that was to take place within forty five minutes.

Poor customer care!
Calls between my main Airtel number and the add-on numbers do not get completed due to pathetic network quality. So I wanted to disconnect both the numbers. They in return agreed to waive two months rental for both the numbers. I find that they have discounted a paltry amount of Rs. 46 towards such discount. Since this issue is not getting solved at [email protected], I had asked them to provide me with the contact details (postal address, e-mail address and telephone and fax numbers) of their CEO to convey to him my problems with his company and different ways of his customer care group to harass the customers. I have also complained to TRAI that these companies often hide behind their customer service mask and they must provide the contact details of other responsible people in theorganization also. Please let me know experiences of other Airtel customers on such issues.
