Disconnection of network!
I took an Airtel prepaid connection 2 months before.I submitted all the required documents for Identification proof. Inspite of that my phone connection is disconnected by Airtel saying that I have not submitted my documents.I have a lot of balance left in my phone. I have to go again and again to their center for the complaint. As I am a busy person I cannot do that.

Very bad customer service!
Myself is Asif Eqbal. I am a AIRTEL mobile service user, my cell no is 9831098615. I sent a SMS on 10-07-2007 on mobile number 09417223994 but message sending is failed, instead this they cut charges for this SMS. when I call to customer care then they are not accepting to refund balance. This is only one example, but type of problem always happens.

Caller tunes and bill!
I tried selecting caller tunes from Airtel home page and i could not even see the full list of song. its so time consuming that i ended up not selecting anything. if at all they are providing such a service why don't they make it a consumer friendly and easy to search for a song. The second thing is that, airtel never dispatch my phone bill on time meanwhile they will be sending me SMS again and again that my bill is over due. I call customer care told them i will not pay my bill until i have the hard copy of my itemmised bill. They say it will be delivered in one day. I waited it didn't come and all of a sudden my phone wasn't working anymore, Fortunately i had another HUtch connection otherwise i would had been incommunicado! I went to airtel office they told me i had to call up customer care 121 number and requested for duplicate bill for which rs.50 will be deducted... I got so piss off, I told them "just for you Airtel people to do your work i.e. doing what you were supposed to do, I had to pay for more? it sucks! really... Could finally solve the problem after few days... pathetic! The next time if it happens again, i will not pay my bill also i will throw away my sim.

Fraud of credit card
I have purchased a sim card of airtel. While purchasing I informed the sales person that bill should not paid through my credit card.as copy of credit card given to him as I card.
But was embarrassed to see that the bill is paid by credit card without informing me.

Non replacement of FWP instrument!
I have taken a Fixed Wireless Phone of Airtel around 9 months ago. The phone was ok till initial 2-3 months and then started creating problems of charging. On our request the Frenchisee located at Patparganj changed the instrument after chasing them for around a month. Later the new instrument also started creating the charging related problem. Repeated complaints were made to the Franchisee to replace / repair the instrument but without success. Is there any body out there in Airtel to resolve our problem...
People beware!!!

Poor service!
I have been receiving the call for new connection from airtel people. Hence i have applied for the same by cheque payment my cheque no. is 216569 and my Endrolment form no. is A764438 a person named nilesh has promised me of connection within 2 days. Unfortunately it is 3rd week i didn't got the connection.
When ever i call them for the above mattress just they ignore my call and not responding to my call.

Not solving my problem!
I've taken airtel postpaid connection (09981172277) I'm not able to receive calls from some BSNL nos. Guy who are calling me hears the msg "this no. does not exist" 2nd thing is when I'm sending sms to any 4 digit no. (7575, 8888 etc) reply i got is "this facility is not available to ur no". I'm complaining from 14th june continuously but customer care executives are just giving another date. What a horrible service!

Zero customer service
I have been trying to get in touch with the Airtel customer care for more than a fortnight now. It is very disgusting and there seems to be no human being you can talk to. I have a simple query with regard to my airtel live. It is very upsetting that a company so big is only looking at people to hook them to get a sale and after sales service is pathetic. I am short of words to explain my frustration.

Poor service!
This is regarding a sim card as an addon card I was offered by AIRTEL Bangalore on 9-07-07 afternoon. I was told the sim will be delivered immediately. Just two documents are required from my end. The customer service Rep turned up in the evening 5-6 hours later instead of immediately and within five minutes i gave all the docs and signed the form.He gave me the new number and asked me to send an SMS to 222 with message Addon <new number>.I did so in front of him and asked him how long it will take to get activated.He did not understand english too well and told me it will get activated immediately.
I get a message back from 222 saying activation will happen post receipt of the documents and once activation happens I will receive an SMS on my primary number. Later in the evening of 9-07-07 I called up AIRTEL customer care called caretouch and asked if my documents reached them safely. They said they had no clue where the documents are and will not be able to tell about the status of the connection till the documents are logged by the representatives.
I gave a call the next day and asked what happened to my 'immediate' connection. I was told the number was NOT rejected. But the docs are still not in. My call is logged on a high priority basis.They asked for 24 hours time from me. Also said it may take 48 hours.
After 48 hours of handing the documents to the representative, on 11/07/07 evening I call up AIRTEL to find that not only are the documents not traced, but the number i was given originally was given to someone else!!I was requested to take another number!! I was told it will get activated in max 48 hours.It did not.Nor did anyone tell me about the number mishap inspite of calls from me 5 times each on 10th and 11th July.
I find this conduct not only unethical (if the representative taking the docs from me had told it may take 48 hours I may not have gone for the connection at all) but totally unprofessional. I will not compromise on the number given originally since I do not see anything wrong in my part.
The connection is still pending. No telecaller has returned my call to resolve the issue yet.

No proper service!
Today morning I got message that VAS download is done and 578/- is deducted from my account. With out any prior notification this was done. And 578 is not a small amout. Just 2days back i had recharged for Rs 650 and out of thet with a deduction of Rs 578 now the balance is under negative.Thrice I spoke to airtel customer care, but no proper response. One of them said that the recharge on my number has been done default.How could this happen.I myself have done the online recharge from ICICI bank and next movement the Rs 650 was deducted from my ICICI Account.Now the balance is under negative and all my outgoing calls also have been banned. AirTel i am sick of this service. Never ever do a mistake of taking an airtel connection especially in Maharashtra.
