Poor service!
I am prasanna working in Systech Solutions chennai, I bought Airtel SIM card last week and when I tried to activate the Add-One card facility I am not able to do because some one else has activated my number mistakenly, and I didn't give any acceptance to that number. When I contact the customer care they are saying Add-One card facility once activated cannot be changed.
I am not able to change the number because I recharged bulk amount for 6 months, How can I pay for the mistake done by others. Already the same problem happened to my friend and now for me. The Add-One facility in Airtel is very very worst.

False promises & poor customer care
I received a mail from Airtel, that i will be getting 30 free SMS for 3 months from effective 5 May2007 which will reflect in my next invoice dated 7 June 2007. When i received the bill there was no discount added to it, after calling to customer care they said that it will be effective from next month. Then he put me on hold to check & suddenly after 5 mins disconnected my call.
This is the kind of false promises AIRTEL gives it to his customers, highly unprofessional. I suggest HUTCH & IDEA are far better service providers.
My advice is to all you people not to take AIRTEL connection in future.

A request for a duplicate bill copy
I am a customer of Airtel and using the connection since two years. I was out of country almost a year and before leaving the country I put my connection under the Airtel custody and it was available for six months.
When I arrived India, I came to know that my connection has already allotted to a different person without informing me. When I asked for an advance rent which I have paid against the connection, after a month conversation they said it has already adjusted in your Aug 2006 bill, when I asked for that particular bill copy where they adjusted the rent amount they gave me an excuse that the data is very old and we couldn’t provide it. I told them that I was not in India so I didn’t get that bill copy and I was not sure that you would have adjusted or not.
I am struggling with the issue for almost two months but the Airtel customer service is unable to provide me the bill copy. I have launched so many complaints for the same and also I put a request for the bill twice to airtelindia.com, even though they are not replying me back. Everyday I call them up for the bill but not getting any positive response... they say we are trying to resolve that complaint.
Someone suggest me what I have to do?

Harassing my family members and friend using different Identity and name
I have subscriber to Airtel Post-pad service 8 month back and my outgoing calls are bared due to exceed in my credit limit. As per my information my credit limit is more then 9000 and my usage was approx. 8000 Rs. Without any previous information my outgoing calls are bared not even out going they cancel my registration also.
Now after one month they are calling using different name and harsh my relatives. If they want to meet me or communicate me why not they are using my office number. I have a lot of Issue regarding there services right Now I want to Compliant against Airtel.
I mention all my complains below:
(1). After purchasing new connection Airtel has charged aprox Rs. 700 without any reason. I can’t request for any "Hello Tunes" but the gave me a “hello tune”. At my very first bill they charge me a very huge amount (700). I called to Customer Care they were just tried to piss me off though they didn't care about my problem. So the issue has been closed. I wasted too much time and money in talking to Customer Care but they did nothing.
(2). without any previous information my outgoing calls are bared.
(3). Harassing my family member and friend using different Identity and name.
Can someone give me a proper guideline regarding this Issue.

Not activating my prepaid sim card
I got the sim card 2 days back and they promised me that we will activate the card on same day. But 2 days have passed my card is not activated and there is no option to make the complaint in the customer care. The customer service is too bad in Airtel. If anybody knows any customer care number to raise the complaint please mail it to me and this will be very helpful for me.

Violating the law
I am an airtel prepaid subscriber, sometime back in febraury, a scheme was launched by airtel, for lifetime prepaid customers, the scheme said,you pay a daily rental of 1.5 rs and u fet all local calls at 0.49 rs /min. I was only for this fabulous offer that i converted my card to a lifetime prepaid card, now on 28th may i got a sms from airtel stating that calls would now be charged at 0.99rs/min instead of 0.49 rs/min, which clearly violates the law, since the trai in its notification has said that no service provider can take back the scheme within 6 months of activation of the scheme. Beware!

Poor network service of Airtel connection
I am a resident of Hillgarden row house - 74, Chitalsar Manpada, Thane & working in TCS at Yantra park, Thane (Maharastra).
Actually I never get the network of airtel connection at both the above places so whoever and whenever tries to contact me, not able to connect me because of network problem.
This problem is not only with me but my friends are also having same problem.

Deactivation of service
I am an Airtel Postpaid subscriber having No. 9831147134. My Sim was deactivated on 26th May 2007 between 4pm to 7pm. When I contacted Airtel customer care an executive named Anirban said that it has been done due to non-payment and my sim is deactivated from many days. Please note that I had paid in time and i had also received the confirmation message from Airtel regarding receipt of payment. Secondly as the Customer care executive had said that it is deactivated from many days was also wrong as i had made calls on the same day i.e. 26th May 2007. Further he activated the Sim without my request for the same. Then again on 3rd June my above Sim got Deactivated. When I contacted Airtel customer care they said that it is deactivated because I haven't used my phone for a long period of time though I am using my above phone everyday.

Never take airtel if you dont wanna lose your money!
I had refilled my cell on 22nd may of rs.350 ut of which i get 210rs as talk time. On 23rd may airtel cut my 70rs as it is the charge of my call and sms pack. Again on 24th may airtel cut my 30rs telling its the charge for airtel live even though airtel live is free of cost and also my airtel live is deactivated for the past two months. On 30th may airtel again cut my 20rs telling that it was cut for making call even though i had not made any calls and now today that is on 4th june airtel again cut my 45rs telling that it is the charge of sms pack in what way is it fair? Does money come on tree that airtel does the same thing always? Whenever we call customer care they ultimately answer the system is under upgradation please take action against them else all the people's money will be wasted in such a way only i am really sad that i believed airtel is the best connection but according to me its the worst connection never take airtel thats my advice if you dont wanna lose your money.

Deposit not showing in account
I m having a Airtel Postpaid connection with a number - 9860066477 At the time of connection I've been charged Rs.500 against Deposit on March - 2006 and Rs.300 in August - 2006 . On 14th April - 2007 when I visited Airtel Connection Center for the termination of service I was informed that there are only Rs.300 deposit in my account and the deposit of Rs.500 was not reflecting and hence they are helpless to cancel the service without the full payment of my bill that was Rs.514/- and advised me to contact senior executives at main branch at West High Court Road Nagpur.
I contacted with Mr Goldie explain them all the position he checked his system and confirmed that only Rs.300 is showing inspite of Rs.800/-. He advised me to submit a receipt of deposit along with a request letter for the termination of service and I did so. I submitted deposit receipt. He advised me to contact on his mobile no after 4-5 days but a shame he never attended a mobile from mine in fact he sms me at once that he is busy in meeting and call me later but he never on the contrary when i tried again some other people attended a call at twice saying he is in the field and forget his cell to carry.
Then I tried to contact his superior Preeti Madam I explained my problem to her even she assured me to solve the problem with 4-5 days buta shame again she repeated the same story as Mr Goldie same she forgot her cell, busy in meeting, the person who makes posting is on leave, Puna office is closed now, and she wants another week to solve the problem.
and still my problem is not solved my service is not terminated, my deposit is not adjusted on the contrary I've been charged for Rs.199/- monthly rent for the period.
If you can do anything please do the needful or kindly let me know the Phone/Mobile No or email id of the executives who can solve the problem.
