Airtel customer care - the hell!
I dont know whats going on at Airtel. I had given written request for broadband disconnection at Airtel noida office on 7th Mar 2007 ( 3 months back ), but they never disconnect my number.
Every time i requested and remind them, they changed my request from disconnection to transfer case. I am getting bills in thousands without using connection. I thinks nobody is able to hear in Airtel.
Customer Care in Airtel is hell as they every time just listen to you then never follow till ur next call, on ext call they will give u a reference number, this time i have 5 reference number, but still waiting for disconnection.

Dissatisfied with service of international roaming
I have well informed airtel and had given them sufficient time to activate international roaming on my mobile where as even when i required it was not activated i had to finally suffer and faced a lot of problem during that time and even i was not been able to contact any one where as it results to loss of business also. Where as now i am thinking to file a complaint against the in court. And i would suggest you to not to use airtel any more ... As the are running for number of customer whereas they are not bothered about services.

Overbilling (non settlement)
I took airtel gold package 1n Dec.2006 with an assurance that minimum billing would be 299/Rs and I will get free calls of the equivalent amount the agent assured me that maximum billing i will receive will not exceed 400/-Rs but even without using the stipulated limit my billing would generally be around 750/Rs. I did not pay the bill for Feb. due to this problem on 4th april a field officer Mr. Suraj Beri from Airtel visited me i explained him my problem he contacted Mohali office of Airtel and settled an amount of Rs 1000/-with me as payment for Feb. and March he also issued me a receipt against the same however he deposited the amount at his office as part payment and my phone was barred for last two months I have made payment of next bill also.

Illegal money deductions!
My father has a airtel prepaid connection on his name. He is a businessman and uses mobile only for making few personal calls. He never uses net on phone or never subscribed to hello tunes, MCA alert. He is being constantly disturbed by unwanted messages and calls from airtel for which i had already made a request of Do not Disturb. I also requested to unsubscribe all those services which my father never subscribed, but without any success, money is constantly deducted from our balance. Today morning i got a message of deduction of Rs. 99 for net-on-phone which we never subscribed. Our all efforts with customer care executives have been in vain, so i have decided to move to Consumer Court for which airtel will be going to face problems which i have been facing till now.

Airtel cheating with customers!
I had signed in for a mobile connection on 27 February 2007 through Airtel agent Renjith (+91-9880296450). I was offered a special corporate plan which he claimed is exclusively for Deutsche Bank, Bangalore.
As per his words the plan detail are as follows:
Rent: 199 + 50 (STD)
300 Minutes free to any GSM in Karnataka, and then 0.40 paise per call
Calls to Landline in Karnataka : 1 rupee
STD calls to any GSM , landline : 1 rupee
100 free local sms.
He clearly mentioned me that this is going to be a life time offer. Then when the plan got activated i received a call from a Customer Care agent stating that this Plan is valid only for three months and there after i will have to pay as usual for STD calls (2 rupee for Airtel and rupees 2.40 for any other number). I had raised several complaints requesting any one to look into this.
I had called 121 almost 3 times in a day and i was not getting good response. I never had such a bad experience with any other customer care than which happened here.
It is notable that i started complaining 2.5 months back and still i haven't received a resolution.
No resolution till date.
Please advise if anyone knows how to proceed further.

Rude behavior at customer care service!

My mobile has an air tell connection from 27th March 2007. I take with the facility of charge of Rs. 20 paisa per minute. When I take the connection, your executives at CS informed me that this scheme is for 6 months. Now after 2 months, they charge Rs. 2.15 per minute charge without informing me. Sir, when I went to customer care center, their behavior was very rude. First of all, they don’t respond and ignore the customers. The persons were the executives of your cs center, Mr. Imran and Miss. Ami Sagar. I am very sure that many customers feel the same thing. Few of them complaints but many of them were not. Many of them just change the connection and tell other person about their experience. Sir, we have a customer care facility to help the customers not to insult them or feel them dumped. In this competitive world, customer is a king. If this kind of competitive situation, you also want to compete with different organizations including Idea, Hutch and BSNL. If you ignore the complaints, in short term you may get profits but in long term you will be lost forever. I think as an employee of this organization, you never want that situation.
I am very sure that after receiving this e-mail, you will definitely take some corrective action.

Problems with activation of prepaid connection!
My mobile number is (9867778885). I had this connection from cbd belapur in maharastra by submitting all the documents with passport as an identity on 20 days before and the connection was activated within 4 hours. After 10 days from the connection my outgoing was deactivated and asked to submit the documents again. By the time i was in andhra pradesh and not able to submit the documents and the connection was was expired. Last Saturday i submitted all the documents in vashi in maharastra and asked to the change into life time prepaid connection. They said that this will activate from Monday. But it was not activated. So i went to the vashi airtel gallery in the afternoon. They said that the server was down and it will activate from Tuesday. So i returned back. As a business man iam eagerly waiting for the connection. But the same thing was happened. It was not activated. I went to the office again in vashi and questioned them regarding the activation. I waited there up to 2 hours and they said that it will surely activate on Wednesday morning. But no result. Then i went to the office in lowerparel in mumbai regarding the activation. They said that if u submit the documents right now again we will get it activate with in four hours. But i don't have the documents that time. So gain i went to the vashi office again and asked them. But again the same reply. And at late night on Wednesday i am able to get the incoming calls only. So gain i went to the office in vashi and questioned them. again the same answer. Today is friday and still i am not able to get the outgoing connection. I think this is not the correct way. Immediately i want the reply from the airtel customer service and tell me what had happened. Almost 12 hours of my time wasted.

Deduction from account!
My pre-paid Airtel mobile No is 9866591233 (at Hyderabad) which was activated on 17-05-2007 and then deactivated on 23-05-2007 for want of ID & residence proof. After submitting of the said documents three times my connection was activated on 27-05-2007. I lodged a complaint bearing No 523139836 on 23.05.2007 but till date i have not received the information about the complaint. Although the connection was activated on 01-06-2007 and due to my personal visits to customer care at White House Begumpet, the complaint stands still not settled.
Today on 01-06-2007, I received as sms that Rs 99 were debited to my account as value pack for which I never applied for. After talking to customer Care, one, Mr Narinder informed me that i Rs 99 will be credited back to your account on 04-06-2007. But the question is when i did not applied for the value pack, how the amount has been debited to my account.

Debiting 2 RS VAS charges / SMS
Today i have subscribes to new offer of airtel , i.e 300 sms free for one month on paying just RS 50 . 50Rs was deducted from my account. But after that when i started Sms'ing to my friends, little bit later thr was the massage showing " your account has been debit by rs 2 as VAS charges " something like that... till now they have deducted 120RS from my account. Please help... also thr is no response from 121.

Poor network
My mobile with airtel prepaid connection does not work inside aiims hospital campus. I had conveyed this to the airtel customer care services about 2 months back but till now there is no improvement at all. The voice keeps breaking and calls get disconnected every 30 seconds; this has become a daily affair and doctors in aims are fed up with the poor signals of airtel and its poor customer complaint redressal. Shortly many of us will be forced to change from airtel if present situation continues.
