Withdrawn money without intimating
I have closed my AIRTEL connection (AndraPradesh circle) 9866343851 on Nov 2 2006 after paying back all the dues in cash. The original connection was a postpaid and was payed through ECS past two years + . These idiots after closing the connection for paying the cash they have withdrawn the amount again from my ECS bank account on Dec 2nd. In spite of repeated mails and communication, there is no answer from airtel till date. no one is really bothered to reply to my mail 121@air**** . The customer service is so pathetic trust me. Never ever take an airtel connection in the life.

Incoming calls blocking!
I am a holder of the Airtel pre-paid card. For the past one-week my incoming calls have been blocked. On contacting AirTel executive at customer care I was informed that this was due to the reason that my card was not verified. I had been contacted for verification prior to this and had given AirTel executive my address and had set a time for him to meet me and collect the required documents, however he did not turn up then and yesterday also on talking to your executive I again fixed a time for him to collect the documents today. But as before no one turned up. The blocking of my incoming calls without any prior notice is causing me a lot of inconvenience.

Making fool of customers!
I got two Airtel connections of Airtel and so as my colleagues. The executive told us that it is a corporate connection and we will not be charged if we make calls in the group and we can also send SMS between the group. He also told us that we can make STD calls at a cheaper rate when compared to others. but to our surprise we found that our connections were not corporate and we were billed heavily. Many of us sent many mails and called the Airtel customer care, but it was of no use. So we decided to not to pay the bill amount until and unless it is billed appropriately under corporate connection rates. These people do anything to sell their products. They play all this type of cheap tricks to sell their products and if we do not pay the bill they send notices. Something must be done to stop this kind of activities.

Not able to send messages for the past 1.5 months!
I am using airtel connection from past 3 years, till now i was satisfied with its services. But from 27.10.2006, i am not able to send messages to any number. I am registering a complaint at customer care every 72 hours. Because every time i call they simply say we have registered your complaint sir, within next 48 to 72 working hours your problem will be solved. Now i feel i am getting harassed for this, they did not bother about any complaint, neither their executives could satisfy the customer nor their complaints.

Now i am not finding any way out but to change my mobile connection. I never wanted to change my number but airtel is forcing me to do so.

Charged for services I never used!
I have been charged for Rs. 1900.00 in the current bill for downloading of ring tones and other services. Number of such downloads is somewhere around 200 that too within a time interval of 5 to 6 seconds on some particular dates. I have never used these services and now I have been threatened by Airtel executives to pay the bill or face the consequences. I am totally harassed and helpless.

No network coverage in a MNC building
Hi, I am facing the problem of network in infinity tower dlf-3 gurgaon since last 3 months. I buzzed the airtel customer care many time(almost 20 times). But every time what I got is "The problem will be resolved with in next 7 days". I have a corporate connection and usually sit in the building for 10 hours. This is really a serious matter now. I am not able to pick even a single call. There is no signal in my mobile. Now, I am not understanding is it really a big issue. If I watch the bussiness prospect then I think airtel is a gaint of indian telecom market. But should not be expectable from them that they are failed to resolve the network issue at that place where even MTNL, Hutch and Idea are working perfectly. From this way I just want to buzz the concerned people so that they can now open thier eyes and implement thier efforts in country growth. I do not have other option. I hope this will be help full....

3RS per national SMS!
I'm from Guwahatti, after a break i've recently charged my AIRTEL mobile for a month, it worked fine with the charges. after the second recharge for Rs222/- they began to charge me Rs3/- per national SMS. and surprisingly the national call charges were much less at the same time. By the time i've noticed it almost Rs500/- was lost.
I've tried to contact the customer care but its always busy. Now i'm almost planning to quit Airtel.

Poor network coverage
This complaint regarding network coverage. I have been complaining to Airtel people for last six months that network coverage is bad in my home. Every time they have been saying will install system in home but till now never happened. But I don’t know how come they say they have connection even in small city when they don’t have proper network coverage inside the city. I am really doubt the service provided by them.

Bad and rude and highly uncooperative customer care executive
Hi, my self Puneet Sachar bearing the airtel mobile connection (+919810285180).

I very much troubled by your airtel customer care division, the executives need to understand we are clients and you need to maintain certain Decorum with us, yesterday the floor manager 'ravinder' or... somebody spoke to me so badly and in a such a ill mannered that I have decided to move to consumer court.

Few days back airtell has bared my incoming calls, stating the reason that I have not submitted certain document, I want to inform that this connection is 4 years old and I have submitted the desired document 3 months back after receiving the sms from airtel, still you people have bared the incoming calls that too without the prior notice.

I could understand there will always be human error and what ever the reason airtel guys have misplaced my document, I have again submitted it on 2nd nov’06 (Vasant Kunj new Delhi) I was assured that by Wednesday or Thursday I'm able to get the incoming calls.
I'm still waiting for this to happen.

Yesterday night when I spoke to your one of manager Ravinder, don’t know he was upset due to some reason or what and he spoke to me so badly and in a rude tone that I have decided to move to consumer court and TRAI for the same.

I again request airtel to look into my case. Or anyone reading this article to help me or advice me so that I can sue the airtel for the same.

No sms service provided
I have been strugging with the sms problem that I have with my Airtel prepaid card.I Had been contacting the customer care of Airtel, but each time they are telling me to wait for 24hours but not solving the problem.Since now i have registered my complaint for 15 times and i have been facing the problem from last 25 days and still no solution.
