I have a post paid connection of airtel. I want to connect it to a prepaid connection. I sent request to airtel email id 2-3 times for the same. Only once I got a reply which was full of technical stuff. I failed to understand the meaning of their reply. Then I contacted local Airtel office. The employees there suggested me to contact only by email. I also registered my complaint through http://www.jokeshindi.com .

I fail to understand why these people don't help me face to face or talk to me on my mobile. Why do they insist on communication through email only.

One fine day when i picked up my airtel mobile to make a call i found that the outgoing facility from my airtel no has been taken away. i go to the nearest shop and get my airtel prepaid account filled up. even after that the outgoing facility from my airtel no has been debarred. Airtel is in a way snaching money from the customers in turn of no service. feel like dragging airtel to comsumer court. can you tell me any address or no where i can solve this problem before going to consumer court.

I have had an airtel postpaid connection no. 9818933455 for more than 4 months. As i was out of station for sometime, i was not able to pay the bill for the month of november on time. when airtel contaced me i told them that i am in roaming, i.e. out of town and will pay the bill within 3days atmost. they verified if i was on roaming and said that they will wait for me to pay the bill and assured me that my service will not be deffered for the next 3 days. but on the same evening my outgoing was barred. I did not mind it as i knew it was happening due to non-payment of bill. but the next day i.e. on 20-12-2006 my incoming was also barred at 1:30AM, i.e. the middle of night, thhough i had come back to the home network and my incoming was free! i contacted airtel customer care from my friends mobile and was told that my services would resume immediately. but my services were not resumed. I then refuesed to pay my bill as they were not listening to me. a few days later an executive of theirs came to my house. I told him of the issue and he assured me that he will get in touch with his seniors and would make sure that i get a satisfactory compensation. I waited for his reply, eagerly. then on 31-01-2007, i got a call from a Mr. Sheikh Oberoi, who claimed to be a lawyer from Airtels Legal cell. He told me that Summons had been issued for me for court case at 2pm the same day. i aurgued that i was told to wait for further talks by your airtel executives and had not even recieved any legal notice what so ever. I asked him that whether he would drop the matter if i paid my bill and he said i had only 2 days. Hence i was FORCED to pay the bill. when i paid the bill i was told that i had a rent for the month of January. i told them that the connection had been closed since 20-12-2006, then what is the meaning of rent? i was not given any answer. I told them that please disonnect this connection as i do not want this connection anymore, but they tried to puzzle me with round talks.

I took airtel prepaid coupon on 3 oct, 2006 and in these 4 months period of time i am so dissatisfied with airtel that i am going to quit my airtel prepaid connection and the main reason for this is that they are charging us so high for their services. If we people are paying you 39 rs for sms packs then why are you charging us for our sms during ocassions? Secondly the call charges have also been increased under 35 rs recharge.

I live in a joint family and we have near about 13 mobile phones at home out of which 8 are Airtel numbers (9849390798, 9866577798, 9866077798... list continues). I am facing No Signals Problem at my home from last 9 months and am regularly complaining Airtel thru Emails, Customer Support, Telephone Calls to Nodal Officer and I have proofs for all my complaints. We pay near about 6-8 thousand of Bill every month for this ridiculous service. The billing people follow-up on complaints regularly and we pay the amount with the fear of our connection getting barred. We are into business and have to take calls from customers for which we are carrying 2 mobile phones (the other one is Non-Airtel). Every other mobile service works perfectly except Airtel. I got fed-up with the response from Airtel.

Now, I feel consumer court of law is the only way to get justice. Please let me know the process to lodge compaint against Airtel.

Airtel Nodal Officers are of no use, they just give false commitments and nothing will be taken care.
