sim card barred
hello sir as am staying in KSA i have an airtel connection from last 1 year and i often use to get msges from india and which was very helpful for me. though i got a msg last week to recharge for 200 rupees to avoid call barring and i had done so from india and yesterday all of sudden the network is no more and it says unregistered sim sir it will be very helpful if u make an complaint and re-activate my sim card my number is 919535529390.

hello,
i m nt able to recharge SMS pack of Rs 9/-
i performed all proceses of recharge ie, i hv done erecharge and typed SMS9 to 121 but i have not got my result of sucess means both are failed to recharge and also talked with CC but they are fully giving false info. ie, they are telling that u will not able to recharge and u need code but where i will get code they r not giving code so what i do please improve ur custmercare service and please recruit the person which are suitable for CC they fully giving wrong info. i can give the names which i have talked with them but i will not give because i don't want to hert.

disconnection of landline
i want to disconnect my connection with phone no. 01804008192
but no action was taken. they telling me for 2-3 days but no action was taken and the bill was coming regularly.

RECEIVING UNWANTED CALLS/SMS
I HAVE A MOBILE PHONE NO 9810003091 WHICH IS ALREADY REGISTERED WITH NDMC ON 01/09/2007 VIDE REF. NO S1000010226 BUT STILL DAILY I HAVE RECEIVED NUMBERS OF CALL/SMS FRO TELEMARKETING COMPANIES I.E. CLUB MAHINDERA, STANDARD CHARTED BANK, AMERICAN EXPRESS BANK, ICICI BANK, KOTAK MAHINDERA BANK, AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE, ICICI PEUDENTAIL LIFE INSURANCE, RELEGARE BROKERS AND OTHER NOS OF CAMPANIES. IT IS SURPRISED THAT THIS NOS IS REGISTERED WITH NDMC MORE THAN 2 AND HALF YEARS AND STILL I HAVE REGULARLY RECEIVING PROMOTIONAL CALLS/SMS TILL DATE. PLEASE TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO STOP THIS OTHERWISE I HAVE NO OPTION BUT TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE COMPANY TO PROTECT MY RIGHTS.

Ruthless customer service
I bought a prepaid sim card for my mother who is flying to united states for an urgent reason. But i was unable to contact the customer service to activate international roaming for the number. I have tried all the means to contact them but nogo. Their customer care number is not working. They are not replying to the e-mail. I never expected such a kind of ruthless service from Airtel. I strongly recommend not to purchase Airtel anymore.

Airtel's way of getting back...!
I was a loyal customer of Airtel cellular services for over 8 years, during which I made payments religiously of sums always exceeding more than 2.5 K immediately after the bill was generated.

In March 2010, my company capped mobile usage and asked us to adhere to it. Thats when I committed a criminal mistake of tweaking with my tariff to identify a more economical avenue. To my horror, the new plan that were advised by Airtel proved more expensive than my former plan. I worked out all permutations and combinations, but Airtel's rigid plans did not offer any viable solution.

Thats when I decide to subscribe to another service provided who offered me a solution to my problem.

However, I did not relinquish my Airtel number since it was widely shared amongst peers and friend.

I migrated my services from Post paid to prepaid, while doing so I cleared my outstanding, and requested them to furnish my bill once it is generated to claim for reimbursement.

That's when all the bloody trouble started. Being the owner the number, I was aware of the average usage and the payment that I made every month, however, Airtel's customer service insisted that I pay over and above as buffer. I acknowledged and made the additional payment... This is what you get from Airtel for 8 years of LOYALTY!

When the bill was generated I noticed that Airtel owes me a certain sum that was paid in excess despite my reluctance.

It has been, god knows how many days and how many countless call to their imbecile customer service to recover the money, but to no avail!!

If that wasn't enough, to add salt to my wounds, they have not delivered the bill even to this day (Nither though E mail nor through post)!!! I was required to furnish the bill to my company before a stipulated time to get my money back, but that never happened and I incurred losses and pay out of my pocket!!

There was a time I felt proud to be affiliated to Airtel ! But today, I am glad that moved away! There is no reverence for a customer, all they want to do is milk you till you wither.

Their network is nothing to write home about and their customer service has gone to the dogs.

I feel bloody betrayed and cheated, I so want to swear at this moment! But my conscience does not permit me to do so!

Any shrewd consumer will stay away from Airtel! Believe me there are other service providers who value your association!!

Airtel sucks...

Airtel executives harassment to my family for pending payment
" Airtel Executives using foul language and harassing my family for pending payment"
1 was using a post paid connection bearing no 9845666693 i have been your
customer from past 5 yrs and have been paying huge bills from a long time, As the
situation got bad i lost my job 8months back and was enable to pay the bill and
a pending amount of Rs.8000.00 is balance which airtel claim is 10, 600.00. sometimes 15000

The problem is from past 3 months your airtel collection department
is harassing my family member and friends with threatening calls stating that
they would disconnect there numbers and abusing my mother sister and wife
time and again, they use very foul language to the ladies and others too...i
was ready to pay 3 months ago itself but the executives activities has made me
not pay due there rowdyism talks and shameful behavior .i have
also complained to the customer care endlessly but nothing has happen

Yesterday ie...25-05-10 at least 20 of my friends and family received
calls threatening to disconnect there connection...my wife who is innocent
receives 20 calls from male and female executives at even nights with abusing
talks.they even told my wife that "your husband is bustard and thinks
more worse than that ...they told my mother to beg on the streets and pay my
bill..they threatened me that they would even break my legs and take the money
out.thats horrible shame on airtel.

Tell me does a human does not have any value if he does not have
money...even the the executives have harassed my sister for the same.

Does your team do not have the decency to behave ...and more than tht i am
available in my residence always and not absconding anywhere.they never call me
instead are accesing my call data and calling everyone

Today i am thinking of giving a Police complaint and approach consumer court
for the same please let me know what i need to do now its not about money its
about self respect.

Improper Deductions
I have given e-mail complaints about the improper deductions made in my prepaid account. the text of which is reproduced below. I haven't got any feedback from the company eventhough a reply mail has been sent by their customer care officer.
This is regarding my pre paid connection I am having with you [97041
95367]. This is AP region number.
Recently I moved out of andhra to chennai. During May 1 & 2 I was in
bangalore when suddenly an amount of Rs125 has been deducted from my
account telling that I have downloaded some services for which i have
not made any initiation. I got in touch with your customer care at
andhrapradesh who inturn was insisting that i have licked some links in
the messages i have received. If I got some message then the same should
reside in my phone, isn't it?. I haven't any excepting the one of some
archies subscription which tells to click to de activate the same else,
i will be charged 30Rs. If I have downloaded some games or some thing
like that the same should be in my mobile that is alos not there. When
informed about this the customer care person has told me that the
problem will be resolved by 4th May. Till date the same is not resolved.
All in all I feel I have been cheated and for a big company like you,
these type of cheap tactics are looking good.
Request you to look into the above matter and give me a satisfactory
reply. Prompt repayment of the deducted money will be highly
appreciated. Or else please let me know the next escalation level where
in I can tell the grievience.
