I am absolutely disgusted with this company. These chairs, order number: A42044 were sent to me covered in dust and grime, in no way should these have been dispatched to a customer in this filthy state. I opened one pair and spent 2 hours cleaning them. When I tried them with my table I realised they were too large and decided I would have to return them (as guaranteed when I purchased them.) Alfresia agrred to this by actually answering an email. This was organised by ParcelForce who collected them on the15/06/09. I have proof they were delivered and signed for by D. Webster on the 17/06/09. I spent 2 hrs wrapping these, now clean chairs, to send and it cost me £23 to return them. Since then I have repeatedly emailed the service department to request confirmation of refund. Incidently, I NEVER received the cushions to go with these chairs so the order was never completed. I have had a couple of emails from the company, after bombarding the service dept with my own emails, to say it would be looked into. However, nothing since the 26/06/09 and it is IMPOSSIBLE to phone them. If anybody can give me their Managing Director's contact number I would be grateful. My recommendation is DO NOT buy from this group unless you are SURE the goods will be perfect. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
