After weeks of research, I finally ordered a ProStar 5604 laptop through AmazingLaptops.com. I've only had the laptop for a couple of weeks, but so far the machine is excellent, with all the bells and whistles I'll need for several years to come. Best of all, it was almost fully customizable. Windows XP Pro installed with no problems, and the system is screaming fast.

The service at AmazingLaptops was very good. After placing my order, Ryan (the sales rep, and I suspect the owner) called me back to recommend a faster, lower capacity hard drive that would actually cost less. I was quite impressed. The only reason I wouldn't give him a perfect score is because I had to remind him to send the the hard drive refund a couple of times before it was finally sent. But he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his computers. He seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction, and I felt I could trust him.

Another small gripe is that I couldn't find a way to check my order status through the website.

But all in all, my experience with AmazingLaptops.com was almost great. I would definitely recommend them to friends.
