Should have soundproofed the waiting area

I recently brought my car in for an oil change at the Wade Green location and was shocked wit the results.Was called back to garage and told my rack and pinion was leaking and very dangerous to drive as it could go out at any second at any speed...but lucky for me they not only caught it but had the parts onsite to do repair today...for only$1000.My Avalon had this issue when we bought it...150,000 miles ago and has never caused any trouble so I politely declined the service.A few minutes passed and I was approached by the manager who wondered if the sales guy had explained the urgency to me completely and then launched into his sales spiel about giving me a better price for my safety...again I declined.A few minutes later the boss walked outside to get the mail and I clearly overheard my sales guy and another 1 talking...the boss is on my back to sell,sell.sell my sales guy said...seems his last day at the Bentwater store he sold $4000 worth of repairs but since coming to Wade Green he had sold nothing and was catching heat for it.Very sad to be treated this way and be needlessly scared all for the might dollar.Yesterday I took the car to my trusted mechanic out in the country who told us the issue would eventually lead to leakage but was not an immediate concern...and he would fix it for $400 totalBut the best part...as soon as I began my story about what happened and before mentioning the name of store my mechanic said...let me guess Americas Service Station...swear to God!

rip off, scam artists

Greg Sands and sherri sands started this company when they were forced to leave texas after the company went bankrupt there! The company was started on a scheme to target the higher income areas. What they do is mark up the parts 3oo to 400 percent and expect the gross profit anywhere to 60 to 70 percemt! Also Greg Sands owns the advertising company the called mudlick mail that is a bigger part of the scheme or scam. What he does there is demograpically targets the higher income areas to advertise to. If you are on the bottom end of the income you as stated by Mr. sands are not one of there customers. The managers are trained very hardcore bait and switch type traning and are tought to do whatever it takes to get the sale! If you tell them no they are trained to turn over the sale to another manager basically until you get the customer to say yes! Mr. Sands does not care about any of his customers or employees! All he cares about is the bottom line. Every single repair or estimate is the highest price anywhere if you thought the dealer was the most expensive place you are wrong americas service station and service street are more expensive 120% of the time! They change the name to service street after the company got such a bad name from the bbb and rip off reports and many other web sites. Honestly it should be illegal what he and his company are doing on a daily basis!
