Scammed, like others
This location operates under the name American Laser Center, but in fact is not. I recieved a treatment in this location by a highly untrained person - so much so that it caused me to do the research to find out what their business status is. According to the HQ of American Laser Center, this location was "removed from their network" and "closed down" due to failure to achieve licenses and pay fees. They said it was purchased by a doctor and they can not be responsible for what happens in this location. This people are NOT trained professionals - they are not knowledgeable about the procedures they are completing and should NOT be open!

NO RESULTS-WAIST F MONEY!!!
DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID at American Laser in Virginia Beach!!!
After the series of not such good events in my life, I thought I’d treat myself to something extra ordinary! Getting rid of the HAIR FOREVER sounded like just what I needed. Thrown in a “congratulations! You won!” certificate, great sales person who promised results in 6-10 treatments, multiple packages discount, finance plan, no more shaving … I felt I owed this to myself. I was sold (full legs, underarms, Brazilian bikini)!!! Over $4400.00, 17 treatments, and three years later here I am finding myself still waxing and shaving!!! What a SCAM! What a LIE! And the manager won’t even return my phone calls! I guess her job is done, why would she; they got what they needed-$$$ They do not offer any kind of refund, nor additional treatments to fix “the broken” product! I was offered to pay discounted price for maintenance! What a joke!

Help for consumers

Horrible customer service
I signed up for treatments and paid them off completely. Not even halfway through my treatments, American Laser Center shut down the clinic near my home and moved to another city without prior notification to their customers. A short drive to and from the clinic turned into a 2 hour drive. This isn't a move across down or down the street, they WILL shut down and have you follow them to another city because they refuse to give your money back. What a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE!! You have to clear an entire day just get treatments done. I tried to get my money back and a refund process was started. They even confirmed my check to be on its way. After 6 months of giving me the run-a-around they called and said that my refund was denied and I won't be getting my money back. Their relocation was within some "mileage limit" therefore all customers' refunds were denied. Their excuse was "they weren't aware their clinic was relocating and they were downsizing due to the economy". But they were trying to get as many customers as possible to sign up for treatments before they closed down by offering buy 1 get 2 free packages. If you absolutely need to get treatments from this place, DO NOT sign a contract. Pay by treatment so that they don't take your money and run. I would NEVER do business with this CRAPPY COMPANY ever again!!

BURNED AND HAIR NOT REMOVED
IF YOU ARE OF AFRICAN AMERICAN DESECENT, OR EVEN HALF LIKE MYSELF, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASER TREATMENT. I WAS 16 WHEN I STARTED MY TREATMENT FOR MY FACIAL HAIR ON MY CHIN, MUSTACHE, AND SIDEBURNS I AM NOW 20 AND GUESS WHAT I STILL HAVE A FULL FACE OF FACIAL HAIR AND NOW MY CHIN IS BURNT SO ITS A LOT HARDER TO COVER WITH MAKEUP THEN IT WAS BEFORE. I HAD 16 TREATMENTS AND GOT NO RESULTS. UNFORTUNATELY BEING DISSAPPOINTED, SELF CONSIOUS, AND DEPRESSED ALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL WASNT A GOOD ENOUGH EXCUSE FOR THEM TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SO I COULD TRY TO FIND A REAL PROFESSIONAL TO FIX MY PROBLEM... NOT ONLY IS $2500.00 HARD TO COME BY BUT NOW I HAVE A DISCOLORATION ON MY CHIN REGARDLESS IF I SHAVE OR NOT... THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO WORK ON PEOPLE OF MY COMPLEXTION BUT I GUESS THEY LIED ITS SOMETHING THEY ARE GOOD AT...

Fraud
I went to the American Laser Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania for their "Free Consultation" for Botox. The "Free Consultation" was an appointment with the receptionist who took my credit card information (charge of $75 for a "Free Consultation" for Botox) and to schedule an appointment. This could have all been done over a phone! I was really hoping to speak to at least a RN or a Doctor since this is a procedure! This was a waste of my time! I was still excited to have the Botox it didn't stop me from schedule an appointment and since I was told that "the doctor will be performing" the procedure I felt a lot better! DO NOT GO THERE BECAUSE A DOCTOR WILL NOT BE PERFORMING / DISPENSING THE BOTOX, only a nurse. You will never even see a doctor. I'm not even sure if this is legal. Always ask who will be performing the procedures and if they are licensed, in writing. Be careful, in some stated "licensed" means watching a video and their certificate gets send in the mail and that makes them certified in some states!! Scary! Very Scary!

Unfortunately Disappointed

Fraudulent, unprofessional, Scam Artists!
I was very excited to find a place near my home that offered a wide variety of laser and aesthetic treatments. My enthusiasm was quickly crushed when I entered their facility. I arrived on time, and then ended up waiting for 30 minutes prior to being seen. The consultation was really a contract signing party. I was talked into treatments I didn't want, a credit line attached to my social security number, and an obligation for a contract I should have never signed. I was promised the world (but not in writing) just so I would sign their no-refund policy long-term contract.
This experience has been horrible. I hope everyone is aware of how horrible, incompetent and unprofessional this company is to work with.

worest service/bankruptacy
Hey guys
We noticed that this company is trying to be noticed to clients as another company that it is not. In short, they are stealing clients from an other company with a similar name. You also need to be carelful with this company because it went bankrupt in 2009.

gift card
I received an $ 800.00 gift card from a fellow nurse who purchased it from American laser Centers in Lubbock, Texas. When I arrived at the facility and presented the card I was told by the " receptionist, " " We don't do those because we're a franchise amd maybe a corporate location somewhere would take it." After 10 or so minutes trying to reason with this person, I was given the # to the " corporate " headquarters. The story gets even worse. I'm transferred 3 times back and forth between people who have no idea what I'm talking about, or have been told not to talk about this particular subject. I'm told if the card was purchased over the internet, then different locations will take it ( they did'nt know which ones ) but if it was purchased locally then that location has to honor it. ( right ). Ultimately I was given the phone no. for a center in Houston, 10 hours away, to see if they would honor the card. Someone paid money for this card, and American Laser Center
apparently just keeps the money and does not provide the service. And the best part. I went to the county clerk's office to get the name of the business owner in order to write him/her a letter, and guess what! They have no business license. The next trip will be to the city attorney and the health dept.
