My name is Jose Jimenez, I also worked for American Safeguard and they also did not pay me. I worked for this company part time for about a month. I got another job and resigned from this company. I turned in all my uniforms and d.a.r's and was told by the operation manager Joseph Gately that I would get paid the following pay period. That pay-period past and nothing. I then tried calling them and when I finally spoke to them they said they needed to talk to their accountant to find out why I haven't recieved a check. Two weeks later there is still no phone call from them and no paycheck I call all available numbers for them and all were disconected and they were no longer in their office. I called the department of labor but they said to file a claim they need to serve the other party aswell. But in order for that to happen I need to find them right? American safeguard claims they have other offices in other states. Is there any way for me to get paid for what I worked? And how can I do that?
