When our loan was origianlly sold to this company I called to set up an escrow account, they gave me so many hoops to jump through I decided to pay my taxes/insurance on my own. For two years I made monthly payments to my county for $250.00 without any problems, then out of the blue ASC sent us a letter stating that they had paid all owed property taxes and set us up on a forced escrow account for future taxes. This raised our payment $600.00. I didn't even know they could do that. TO add insult to injury our arm reset and they raised that 3 points so our payment went up from $1300.00 to $2200.00. We have been trying to re-modify our loan since January 2008 and still have not gotten anywhere and they just filed for forclosure. I don't undestand how these people sleep at night!
