I just learned something. I signed up for a free trial at Ancestor.com. Had to give them a credit card which wouldn’t be charged if I cancelled within 14 days. I tried to cancel today and went through all the steps, but it felt like when I was done it wasn’t complete. But doing everything I thought I should be doing I printed the last page of the cancellation process. Lo and behold, the “cancel subscription” area to click on was invisible on the screen, except it appeared when I printed it. Otherwise it didn’t show up. So, I clicked on the invisible area and completed the cancellation process. What bullshit. Then I went online and they screw people who don’t cancel on time.
