We had this door for a couple of months and a gust of wind caught the door and snapped the closure. Lucky the door was undamaged. My 15 year old Larson had a safety chain and never had a problem. Then a couple of months more in June we pulled the upper window down which has a rollup screen attached. We had pulled the window/screen down prior but never 3/4 of the way down. The screen would not retract anymore. It is like a window shade arrangement. I tried a couple of times to roll it back up like I have done many times with window shades. With the smaller area of the door to work with and a track the screen moves in it wasn't working out. I ended up cutting off the screen and keeping the window up. It seemd so cool in the showroom. I had the door for 11 months. We have the same door in the front but we only lower the vent window a 1/4 of the way because we are afraid the same thing will happen. The screen/window goes goes all the way up and down in the showroom.
