Upon checking my account on the weekend, I stumbled on some fabulous news that my new account has been charged twice by AP9*PRIVACYMATTERS/AP9*PMIDENTITY.COM for the same amounts of 29.95 on the same day. I have never approved this company to take any amount of money or set up an account with any companies. It has set my account into overdraft and left me with a huge goose egg. I contacted Wachovia for "help" and got a huge run around. Amanda Jackson from Visa told me I have to give the company Privacymatters.com my card information and address with contact info in order to get a cancel request. I thought this was total BS and Amanda Jackson told me that its OK to give it out because they already have the info anyways. I don't understand how this company can have this many complaints with the same bank and still get away with this garbage. Amanda Jackson told me that I was basically SOL because she looked up on Privacymatters.com and found my account (that was never set up by me) and found me by my zip code. I said damn, that's pretty good because my cable/phone/grandma/bank/pizza delivery/utilities/ cant even find me with JUST my zip. This is total garbage and I will push this as far as I need to go for everything to be resolved. And one more thing I think that banks should have to pay the account holder for all fraudulent transactions to cover all damages and seal it with a $100 kiss. Glad my money is safe!!!
