The management of this apartment complex is terrible. Never have I had trouble like I did here. Almost every month my rent was considered late even though I paid on time because the water bill I was given did not match the rocords for the water bill they had for me. Even though I had proof that I paid what I was told to pay it didn't matter. Somehow it was my fault. And the water bill that I had to pay was an appropriation of the water for the whole comlpex. So even though I am out of town for half of the month the water bill was extremely high. I do not believe that accounting skills are needed for the management at this complex.

Then there is a complaint on getting repairs done. The light in my stairwell was burned out the entire year that I lived at this complex. I asked to have the lightbulb changed and was ignored. The stairwell is outside and this complex is in a very bad neighborhood so I was always fearful that someone could be hiding in the dark corners waiting not to mention the two times that I missed the bottom of the stairs because I could not see it. In March of 2010 broken glass was all around my parking stall and in the grass of the area where kids play a lot. I told management and they said they would send maintenance to clean it up. Maintenance cleaned by all the dumpsters but failed to clean my stall or the grass. Again I told management. Nothing more was done about it. I even typed it out and sent in a written compaint with my rent for April. Still nothing. The management here does not care about the safety of the renters at all.

After moving out of this complex I was was just glad to be gone. After three months I recieved a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed the complex money. Not once did I recieve any kind of notice from the management at Apartments on the Green. I contacted the Better Business Buruea and the complex informed them that they sent out two notices to me. I went through all of my old bill and no, not one notice from them. So instead of contacting me themselves they sent it directly to a collection agency so they wouldn't have to deal with it. And what I'm being charged for is a water bill, carpet cleaning and a full paint of the unit. No where in the contract (which I am as of now holding in front of me) does it state that I would have to pay for a carpet cleaning and painting of the unit after moving out.

Apartments on the Green is the worst complex I have ever lived in. After already living there I searched online and I am not the only person to have problems with this complex.
