Purchased an Ipod touch in 2009 with a 2 yr. repair plan. At that time the sales rep said it would also cover replacement. Had to send the ipod out for repair, ii came back with just a firmware upgrade and not repaired. Brought it back and was sent out again, this time they replaced the battery and still not working right. Brought it back to store again, clerk set it up to send back again and I was told they would replace it this time. well the store never sent it out for 2 weeks and when I went to check on it they said it was still on the repair desk waiting for the repairman to look at it. I callee the 800 number to radio shack to find out what the heck could be done and the person told me the repair place had just recieved it and evidently it had sat at the store for 2 weeks! also the replacement part doesn't apply to anything but phones so my ipod just keeps going back until it's fixed or I get fed up with the whole process, i guess! radio shack is nothing but a big ripoff when it comes to repair plans!
