I attended Applebees in Clarksville, Tennessee the other night and I will never return. The waitress I had was awful. We waited for about five minutes til she even acknowledged our table. She sold us drinks that the bar does not even have... Twice. After that she wrote our order on a napkin. How tacky! It looked like she was carrying a menu around in her apron. Is she new or something? Anyways she preceeded to get our order wrong but we didn't want to complain because we would be stuck there even longer to get it fixed. She never offered dessert or refills on our drinks. It was ridiculous! She looked like she was stoned and was very unkempt. She was a very bad waitress and made the restaurant look awful. I will never return.

First off I love Applebees food it's great. On my birthday which is January tenth i decided to invite a couple of my friends out to eat along with my best friend who has the same birthday as mine. We decided to go to Applebees of course, I arrived a little late and my guest were already there i called ahead to tell them to order but because it was my big day they insisted on waiting. So when I got there we ordered and our food took quite awhile and I figured it should be hot. The server brought us the food it was not hot at all so we asked for hotter food. So we got our food but after that we did not see our server again for utensils or refills so we had to ask someone else for utensils. finally our server brought us our tickets without asking us how we were going to pay or even if we were getting any desserts that night. Then she left again and did not come back for about forty five minutes. We sat there and chatted and she finally came back and we paid and left. Well overall i felt like the server could have been more professional.

AFTER 35MINUNTE WAIT TOOK 45 MORE MINUNTES TO GET ORDER BROUGT SALADS NO SERVICE WARECAME WITH 2 SETS FOR THREE PEOPLETHEN CAME THE FOOD BAKE POTAOESWERE COLD THE STEAMED VEGGIES HAD COOKING BUTTER COLD AND PASTED TO THEM SENT BACKGOT PLATES BACK 15 MINUTES LATERMANGER SAID I DOING BEST THEY CAN FOR 71.00 IT SEEMS THEY WOULD DO A BETTER JOB ICAME THERE 3 TO 4 TIMES A MONTH BUT YOU WONT SEE ME THERE ANY MORE

Applebees has good food, good menu, and fairly good prices. I have eaten many times at different Applebees, but one night I happened to pick out an Applebees in Brighton, MA and ordered baked haddock. What the poor waitress brought to me was a dry looking fillet of Tilapia which indeed tasted like frozen Tilapia and had the unmistakeable appearance of a flat fish. As a well seasoned diner who is also experienced as a waiter and a chef, I obviously complained politely to the waitress who in turn, being fairly new on the job, summoned backup wait staff who was puzzled by my complaint, and in turned summoned a middle aged man who wore an open collar shirt with no ID, and promptly said "We serve two kinds of fish, and that is haddock" and ambled away. No more Applebees for me if their managers are so ignorant, abrupt, and discourteous.

Just last week my hubby and I went to Applebees and after we were seated we noticed we were the only ones there except for 1 person at the bar, it was after 2:00 in the afternoon and ye would think that with it being so empty we would have gotten fast service but we didn't, our waitress finally came over after 10 minutes and asked us wot we wanted for drinks, we ordered our drinks then she went off to go get them, or I had thought, we waited for another few minutes then I finally got up to go look for her, she was no where to be found, so I went to the hostess and told her we wanted our drinks we just ordered and she said she would take care of it then I remembered I had left my purse in the car and we to go get it, to my shock our waitress was outside smoking a cigarette so I walked over to her and asked why she was outside and she said it was her 15 minute break, I got so angry and just turned around, when I got to our table our drinks were there and I told my hubby I wanted a different waitress and we got one and she wasn't no better, she took our order (his was alfredo sauce with shrimp, mine was the fish platter but had asked for the regualar batter and not the beer batter), we waited for another 15 minutes or so and when we got our food my hubands was cool and not even warm, mine as I said was suppose to be regular batter but got the beer batter, so again I go looking waitress #2 and she was sitting at the bar but on the other side where we could not see her and I walked up to her told her our food was and and the order was wrong, she had the dam nerve to roll her eyes and I told her to take the food and shove it up her arse then I walked back to our table and she had thought to give us a bill, not happening, when got to the cashier I told her exacly wot had happened and she said we still had to pay since we both took bites of our food and told her I wanted to see the manager whom had just at that moment walked in and the cashier told her we were refusing to to pay our bill and I explained why, the manager was smart enough to comply, we will never go back there ever again.
