I had applied for a passport on 09-09-2010, later on police verification also has done successfully. Then around 2months later I received a letter stating that “Your name/father/mother/wife/husband name given in your passport application does not tally with the name given in your school certificate/birth certificate/old passport. Please clarify and in case of change/addition/deletion in name or surname, furnish newspaper cuttings from two reputed newspapers and a deed poll affidavit, as per Annexure A, duly attested by a Notary.’’
As per this notice I had submitted the requested documents (newspaper cuttings from two reputed newspapers and a deed poll affidavit, as per Annexure A, duly attested by a Notary) within 05days. And the concerned person in Pune passport office also has confirmed about the receipt of documents. But till today I have not received my passport yet.
Even website is not showing the latest update. I personally want to request you to look into this matter. And help me out to get my passport ASAP.
