NEW PARTIAL
I am a very dissastified customer. I have spent over $8, 429 which the insurance company only paid $2, 500 and out of my pocket $5, 929 within the last 18 months. I agreed to 7 crowns on my bottom teeth which I was very satisfied with. I returned in Feb 09 to fix 2 upper teeth in which they said I needed a root canal with 2 crowns and I agreed to that. I also knew I needed a new partial for the upper 6 teeth missing. There was a problem with the lab getting the crowns right. I went to several appointments for fittings. The real issue is the partial for the 6 teeth on the top. I have had 2 other partials for the same missing teeth by other dentists and had no problems or pain. Realizing that I had to have a new partial made because of the new crowns I agreed to a new partial. I went for a fitting of the partial on 7/30 with the teeth set in wax. I could not tell how they would fit because with other dentists I was just fitted with the frame to see how the frame was fitting in my mouth. They told me the partial would be ready on 8/5 with the permanent teeth. The partial did not fit right when he put them in and I asked if they would adjust and he said yes. I was holding the partial in with my bottom teeth hoping that they would adjust to my mouth like he said. That evening I started to eat pizza at 8:30PM and the partial popped causing the crown next to the partial to snap. The next morning I called the 800# to complain and let them know what was going on. I talked to Amber and she said to call the office and speak with the office manager where I had the work done. I called at 9:05AM, explained to Allison what had happened, and asked to speak to the office manager. Allison gave me an 11:00AM appointment for that day. The dentist kept adjusting the partial and the metal on the top of the partial was very low from the roof of my mouth and he said that the tissue on the roof of my mouth would eventually drop. I asked him if since I was without a partial for so long would that have weakened the pin in the crowned tooth since it had no protection around it. He said that could be part of it. I had to pay $249 to have a larger pin made and have the crown reinserted. I do not feel that I should have had to pay this since the ill fitting partial is why the crown snapped off. I explained this to the dentist and he said that he would talk to the office manager to come up with a price. I tried to wear the new partial for the next 6 days but it still was not fitting right, caused constant discomfort and some pain, and I could not talk without lisping. I was afraid that since the new partial was not fitting right that it would cause damage to my real teeth and then I would be told I need new crowns and new partials and this would never end. I am now NOT wearing the partial. It causes too much unnecessary discomfort.

I went through Care Credit to have this work completed and paid $698 out of pocket and put $249 on my American Express. Since I do not have a partial that I am able to wear, I will be contacting Care Credit as well as American Express tomorrow to find out what my options are as far as stopping these 2 payments until I have resolution. I can be contacted at 607-844-3075.

Rip off
This company will make promises to make you smile, But they will do nothing but overcharge you and do shabby work by unprofessionals, under qualified people. Good luck trying to get your money back for work not completed. They finance you thru GE money bank and never offer refunds. This company ripped me off for over $5, 000 and has ruined my credit because I refuse to pay the balance. They never did the work and what they tried to do was so sudstandard and poor quality I Did not accept it. Talking to the Home office also gets you now were. I went to a real dental office and when they saw the fit and poor qualiy they were in dis belief a professional could have messed up as bad as ASPEN DENTAL did. I have pictures if anyone want to see shabby work. Not even good enough for a dog. RIP OFFs is all I can say.

Charge for Services not Rendered
When I visited Aspen Dental for the first time, I ensured that my digital X-rays are transmitted from a previous dentist as I didn't want to go through another full mouth X-rays within a short period of time. The office manager in charge was handling it. Even though she was fully aware that she had my X-rays, yet my insurance company and I were billed for a full mouth X-rays of $115.00 I immediately alerted my insurance not to pay this amount as there were no X-rays taken by Aspen Dental.

It appears to me that this scamming is practiced on a regular basis to unsuspecting customers and insurance companies.

Very Poor Service
I have had very unsatisfactory service from this Aspen Dental. My son and I have for the past few years gone to this Dentist office regretfully. They cancel appointments without phone calls and their work is poor. I moved to Massachusetts 6 years ago from upstate NY and I have never had so many problems with a Dentist as I do currently from Aspen Dental. I have taken partial days off from work to take my son into this dentist office only to be told when I got to the office that his appointment was cancelled. When I asked why I did not get a phone call, the answer was, we left a message. They did not leave any messages anywhere. I have three phone numbers and three voicemails, non of them had any messages stating that the appointments were cancelled. I had to use my own personal time and lost it due to their neglect to be considerate and call to cancel. If a patient was to not show up for the appointment and not call to cancel 24 hours ahead of time (per their requirments) that patient gets billed $25.00 for not calling. What about when they cancel your appointment and do not call? Do they reimburse those who have to take time off from work to go to the appointment?? NO, they don't. I did speak to the office manager about this the third time that it happened and told her that if it happens again I would be sending them a bill to reimburse me for my time off from work and my gas to have to pick my son up from school, drive him to the office, and then drop him back off at school. The office manager was apologetic, but I could tell that she was just pacifying the situation. Another complaint is that I have had 3 fillings replaced and a tooth pulled due to the poor dental work that this office provided. They did replace the three fillings without charging me, but when I had to have a tooth pulled, I was told by the office manager that I was not going to be billed for any of it. I had a tooth that was bad but could be saved with a crown. The dentist put the temporary crown on and did not mention that I needed a rout canal. About two to three weeks later I had the permanent crown put on. That was an experience in itself. The nurse that was helping the dentist did not numb me to take the temporary crown off, she stated that I would not feel it. I have no idea where she actually got her degree. The temporary tooth was cemented on with a temporary cement, and it hurt extremely when she yanked it off. I screamed and she said that it should not have hurt and that I made a big deal of it. One week later I ended up with a severe infection all the way to my jaw bone. I went back to the office and the dentist told me that she could not tell, without an x-ray, if I had an infection. She referred me to a rout canal specialist. I went to him the next day and he took one look at me crying and one look at my face, and said that he did not need an x-ray to tell him that I had an infection, he needed the x-ray to show how far the infection was. He took the x-ray and told me that the infection was all the way down to my jaw bone. I then had to make 5 visits to him so that he could drill and pack the tooth with antibiotics, along with me taking antibiotics and pain medications. I had called many dentists and was told that the route canal should have been done first to clean up the remaining tooth and to make sure that there were no signs of infection and no nerves. Everything was fine until about 4 months later, I lost the crown. I went into Aspen Dental and was informed that there was no way to put a crown back on the tooth due to the tooth was decaded under the crown from the infection that I had that caused me to get the route canal. I spoke to the office manager and told her that this was totally unacceptable and that I should not have to pay for the tooth to be removed due to the negligence of the dentist. She agreed and said that I would not be billed. I had the tooth removed and walked out of the office without having to pay. Well, that procedure was on December 30th 2008, yesturday, July 23rd, 2009, I received a bill in the mail for the cost of the IV Sedation. I called the office and asked to speak to the office manager. I was informed by the office manager that she just started at this office recently and was not familiar with my case. She did look at my records and I told her what had happened and that I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service at that office. I also told her that I want my son's records and my records immediately and I will be looking for another dentist. She did appologize for the inconvieiance and informed me that they will have my records available for me to pick up in 24 hours. I do not and will never recommend this Dental Office to anyone. I have put a complaint into my insurance company and also to the Dental Association.

Rude employee
That Amy is a rude, rude person. I made an emergeny appointment, When they called me out back I told them that my employer hadent sent me a card for my dental ins. So she called, but unfortunately they had closed by that time, And she was scoffing and sighing the whole time looking through her book, really making me feel like a pos. SO I rescheduled, When I got home that night, I decided to give my insurance a call and low and behold I got an operator!! And all the necessary info.

So I call the next morning get my info and she was still being rude, had me on hold for minutes. Finally another girl picked up, I was so thankful.

So I showed up the next afternoon, and I had forgotten my debit card, I didn't realize it would be a problem to jst give them my numbers which I have memorized, I told them tht my gf could bring the card by around fiveish and that the card was in my name. Most of the girls in the office didn't see it as a problem, but this bitch did. Then she tried gettin a little lippy with me say that they had squeezed me in and I had showed up five minutes late. I asked her what she was getting at, and she said they had an emergency patient after me... blah blah blah. This was uncalled for. I'm not sure why she is allowed to get away with this.

All I wanted to do was pay to get these teeth taken out, and this girl seems to have a personal vedetta against me. I got news for this slutty bitch, she isn't a dentist!!! She isn't important. She seems to think she runs the show down there. It really isn't about the customers anymore, it doesn't matter that I was suffering. I may not have a lot of money, and regret wearing sweats there, cause obiously this douche thought I was going to rip them off. So sorry I don't fit the image of someone who is trust worthy, in your eyes. I don't want any freebies, I pay my way!

All the other ladies down there are sweethearts. I don't know how they can work with this selfcentered cunt.

Crooks
Went in with a toothache and they tried to 'sell' me work including pulling four teeth, partial dentures and full "scaling" which would have maxed out my dental insurance and in ADDITION - cost me a few thousand out-of-pocket.

I went to a REAL dentist, and he cured the problem with a root-canal for $500 - which my insurance paid all but $70 of...

In addition, ASPEN dental advertised "FREE CONSULTATION" and "FREE INITIAL" X-rays - but after I did not by their scam they charged my insurance for these and started sending me bills...

Stay away from these crooks...

ASPEN DENTAL =WORST PLACE EVER
My mother just recently went to Aspen Dental for some tooth advice. Her teeth were hurting her so she decided to have them checked out. At Aspen, they told her the enamel from her teeth was almost completely gone and there was no fixing it, so they pulled out the majority of her teeth. During that procedure, they did not use enough Novocaine and she could feel every little cut and pull they were making. She told the "dentist" about how she could feel everything he was doing and he told her all she felt was pressure and that everyone says that to him. She was in total pain the entire time. She also bled for a looooong time. Also, immediately following the surgery, they placed her dentures in. They were SOOOO HUGE in comparison to her tiny mouth that she couldn't even talk... she had to slur her words and the saliva couldn't even stay in her mouth. She kept them in for one night and couldn't stand it anymore so she took them out in the morning. Her face was swollen quite a bit and she complained of pain for a few days. She went back for an appointment to have them fix the problem, and they made the dentures even larger! So she complained again and the "dentist" "TRIED" to fix them, which he failed because she put them in her mouth and said "they're still too big" and he got extremely cocky and said "well you can't know in 3 seconds." They would barely even fit in her mouth. They also keep charging her a nice handful of money every time she has to go back, but the only reason she's going back is to complain about their crappy service. I highly do NOT recommend this place to anyone. My mother is going through enough drama and it's ruining her life and her budget.
