I attended Associated Training Services School to get practical experience for placement in a truck driving position. This course according to regulations should have been 160 hours. I attended school for 120 hours and received a diploma. No trucking company will hire me because they have never heard of this school. I was scammed out of $250.00 with a promise of a job with Knight Transportion. The e-mail came from the truck driving school job placement person. I have applied for truck driving positions and they stated if the school contacted them they would consider me for employment. They have never contacted any of these employers. I am paying a student loan in the amount of over $5, 000.00. The finance company wants me to pay the loan off so they are off the hook in case I sue. I have talked to other students and they are now at other truck schools in order to get a job. The truck school in Victorville is no longer in business, DMV will not even allow them to come on their lot. I want to file a class action suit against this school.
