Submitting complain on behalf of my boss - I filed the claim with Verizon and have made all the phone calls in regards to replacing broken phone - He bought a blackberry from Verizon a year ago...a part on the phone broke which controls the scrolling and moving the cursor. They sent me a replacement phone after I paid the 50.00 deductible. I made the decision to put up with my phone until I returned from vacation. I didn't want to thake the chance moving to a new phone, go on vacation and run into any troubles being able to contact my company.
I received the replacement phone 7/31/08, it stayed in the box until I returned to the office 8/11/08. I moved over to the new phone only to find that it also has the same trouble as my previous phone but worse. I called the insurance company to get a replacement and they said I had to pay another 50.00 to get another replacement phone because I didn't make the claim within 7 days. I asked to speak to the manager, they customer service guy said the answer would be the same I said I don't care I want to speak to the manager. He put me on hold and no one ever came to the phone.
You pay 5.00 a month for insurance, you have to pay a deductible (which they don't tell you that when you are offered the insurance) for a replacement phone and they send you a bad phone. NOT GOOD BUSINESS
