I received a debt collection notice from afni, Inc in Novemebr, 2007 for $1065.42. The debt collection was for an AT & T Cingular Account. I immediately went to the afni, Inc website and asked for the account number, date and time I supposedly set up the account with At & T or Cingular. I have never had an account with AT & T or Cingular. I asked afni, Inc. to send me the address for Cingular and the account number. I wrote to the Cingular address provided by afni, Inc and never received a response. I did a search of the internet for At & T Cingular sites near that address and found none. The debt collection is listed as a credit dispute on my credit report. Afni, Inc should be able to provide the basic information about the account. Action needs to be taken against afni, Inc
