Some basic functionality is lacking. When turning on, it plays from where it left off, but after the current track it continues play from the beginning of its filesystem. So for each time you listen to it, you'll have to forward through all the tracks (podcasts, in my case) you've heard to get to ones you haven't. Both the 'previous track' and 'next track' buttons forward to the next track. Not good. The equalizer is of negligible usefulness, some settings overmodulate the sound so it's distorted. There are no hardware lock or play mode switches (which likely keeps the price low), and using these features as instructed in the manual can be confusing. A simple and functional player, but they could have ditched the equalizer and spent time making sure basic features work.
