This is just another example of the big corporations lying, stealing and cheating the individual citizen through price swapping. I spoke with several different representatives to confirm a price of $42.95 for phone and dsl service (it seemed like a great price, that's why I confirmed it twice). Anyway, when I got the first bill, the internet service was just added at $42.95 in addition to the basic phone service that I already had. When I called to straighten out the billing error, I was told by several representatives that there was nothing that could be done and I would have to just accept it. Since these companies have been allowed to grow so big and powerful, individual citizens have no reasonable recourse to these tactics.
