James Michael "Mike" Gordon & Beverly Padgett are believed to have committed real estate fraud. Mike Gordon borrowed his wife's 401(k) and savings to purchase a home and Avalar Real Estate. When it came to buy their house (two days before they got married) he had one of his employees, Beverly Padget and her sister (she was the loan agent) assist him in conning his wife out of her share of the home. A real estate agents job is to protect her clients. Mrs. Gordon repeatedly asked if she needed an attorney and was told by Mike Gordon, Beverly Padgett and her sister, Gayle Arrowood, that there was no need. They told her to sign the papers and congratulated the Gordon's on the purchase of their house. What Mike Gordon and company did was trick Mrs. Gordon into signing a spousal grant deed. Luckily, they weren't married. This shows intent to commit real estate fraud. Mike Gordon also had Avalar's notary notarize Mrs. Gordon's signature with a FALSE SIGNATURE. Mrs. Gordon was NOT married at the time of the purchase of the house. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS.
