Just wanted to file a complaint in favor of a fellow complaint board contributor (Silverberg) relating to the shady practices of AZTEC FINANCIAL based in Burbank, CA at:

This business run by Joel and Carrel Hoffman has been under investigation for fraud, and is to be avoided at all costs if you value your hard earned equity. I've researched their practices and as a real estate professional, take my advice and avoid them. Do your own research if you need to. I did.
There are far too many other reliable options when looking for a loan. The old adage is true. If its sounds too good to be true...its not. Help spread the word. This is a small industry and one less fraud is what we need to turn this economy around. Aztec Financial is only out to take advantage of unsuspecting homeowners. Don't get caught in their web.
