I recently applied for a loan modification in which I was denied and during the process I was behind on my payments and was told not to worry about trying to catch up just to continue to try and send the monthly payment in. When I received the notice on March 28th 2011 that I had been denied the Obama modification plan I contacted the 800 number in which I was told I was been considered for another plan and to continue to try and send in my payments which I was at that time showing to be March and April due. On my April statement it showed me to be $2480.68 due in which I obtained a loan from my 401K abd on April 20, 2011 I made a payment of $2490.00 which would cover all past due fees. On Thursday May 5, 2011 I received a call from BAC stating that I was not $1784.00 past due which was for April and May and that same day got a letter stating that they had recived a payment on April 21, 2011 onday after payment was made at the bank of $821.46 and I was still behind $924.60. What happen to my $1668.54 and the representative act if though she didn't even see the payment that I had made on April 20. I am now filing a complaint here and with te Better Businness Bureau someone is having a party on our money and jerking us around. I can't even log into the website since BAC took over. My account was originally with Countrywide (they screw you over also).
