To whomsoever it may concern,

I was informed by the servicing center (Hitech Automobiles, Kondapur, Hyderabad, AP) that Bajaj Bikes will not be serviced on the basis of the odometer reading rather will be serviced on the basis of date from the purchase.

First i want to confirm if it is true.

If it is true, what kind of rubbish system is this. Why should the servicing guys/authorities decide when i need to service my bike and how many km's i need to travel? ( i.e 75 days or 240 days from the purchase date). The bike undergoes wear and tear on the number of km's it travels and not by the number of days it's been used. When i buy a bike i pay for the service too, its not something you do for a charity.

If it is not true, how can a authorized Bajaj dealer not be aware of such basic things.
