Trick to charge the late fee
I pay all my bills in the beginning of every month. Because I pay full amount around same time every month, I dont check all the detail of the statement, especially on this credit card. I seldom use this card. I use other card more. This month I noticed that BOA charged me the late fee. I am not complaining about the late fee. There is a reason my late payment. I checked the due date was 5/3. The due date is around the 8th of every month. I checked the previous due date online;10/12, 11/1, 12/7, 1/1, 2/1, 3/8, 4/2, 5/3.

I dont know why BOA keeps on changing the due date. I found out that I had paid the another late fee on Feb, too. If I had balance on other months, I would have paid more late fees.

All my other credit cards dont change due dates like this. They only change 1 or 2 days if they change.

I dont think it's fair to change the due dates like this. All I can think is that this is a BOA trick to charge the late fee to its customers.

Thank you for reading!

Robbing folks with NSF fees!
Bank of America is in the business of robbing people. Their rules constantly change to benefit their pockets and there is no consistency from one rep to another. In the past year, they have managed to rob me of over $900 of my hard earned money. I only know this figure because it was thrown in my face today by a so-called customer service manager that I’m doing a poor job of managing my finances. Never mind the fact that I'm a single mom and a business owner trying to keep my head above water in the mortgage industry. I have been monitoring my account on-line constantly to prevent this from happening, and no one could offer me an explanation, all I know is that in 5 minutes I racked up $210 in overdraft fees for $30 worth of transactions. When I questioned why they process transactions from biggest to smallest instead of in the order they are presented, I was told that this was intended to benefit the consumer so the most important items are paid. OK, so if I have a $100 light bill and I go on a shopping spree for $110, how is it more important to pay the shopping spree first? They have no method as to how long credit transactions and debits show as pending before that money is out back into your balance. All they can tell you is to write down every time you use your card, and do not rely on the online banking as a ledger. I may be wrong, but I thought debit cards were created as a convenience to the consumer, and on-line accounts were an added convenience. If I have to write down each time I use my debit card, wouldn't it be easier to write checks and have carbon copes so I can transfer it to a ledger when I have time? Their customer service reps are rude and have no clue what they are talking about. They just love to point out that it's your fault and they stick together like glue no matter how wrong they are. Bank of America is definitely an institution with no heart. They are extorting millions of Americans and they have absolutely no remorse whatsoever. If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against them, I would love to voice my opinions. I'm not usually a vengeful person, but I can't wait for the day when they get what they have coming to them.

unethical business practices
After myself and my other half Thomas White being customers of Bank Of America for 20 years, Bank Of America's customer advocate Sharon Tabor, suspended our credit card and closed our account without our knowledge or consent. This was done after we made a formal complaint to the federal authorities regarding Bank Of America continually increasing our rate to 32% after being late on two bills. We had always paid our bill on time, but were late twice. Both times we called Bank Of America to let them know the bill was going to be late due to being in a financial crunch. They told us there was no problem, they would be more than happy to work with us. After that, the slapped us with a $39 late fee each time, but we had that credited back to us reluctantly. Then they started increasing our rate.

After some time of being on time with our bill and also paying more then the minimum payment when we could, we inquired about the rate being lowered. We were told "NO". Then Sharon Tabor called us, gave us a rate of $15.99% but never told us that our account had to be closed. She only told us after doing what she did. Bank of America told us that they can close anyones account at any time for any reason and they dont have to let the person know. They said because we had a high balance, that it was determined that our account had to be closed. Well we had payed our account down to "0" twice, both times in one lump sum. We have recently paid it down again. Bank Of America had examined our account before and never took any kind of action until we made a formal complaint to the Office Of The Comptroller of The Currency. We believe they took the action they did in direct retaliation for our complaint. In so examining our account as many times as they have, it has compromised Mr. Whites credit score. Before Ms. Tabor closed our account, A week or two prior to this, Mr. White made a purchase for a $1, 300 computer. He made this purchase in good faith. Ms. Tabor stood in the way of this purchase being authorized making the arrogant comment that this was an unnecessary purchase. That if the money had been for food or for utility bills, she could authorize that. Where does Bank Of America get off telling someone what they can and cannot purchase with their card, and how much they can or cannot spend. Bank Of America clearly violated their own credit card agreement when they closed our account. It states in the agreement, that Bank Of America has to give a person 15 days notice before closing anyones account, it also states that if a person is delinquent on their account or over their limit, which we were not, that the 15 day window does not apply but they still have to give a person proper notice. We were "NEVER" given any notice about this. Ms. Tabor took it upon herself to take this action.

This has caused us unnecessary pain and suffering, and alot of anxiety. It has also been hard on us financially. It has set us back a bit. We feel we are entitled to compensation for what Bank Of America has put us through. Bank Of America needs to be held accountable for their unethical business practices.

exorbitant interest rate on line of credit
the interest rate on my line of credit overdraft is around 18 or 19%. I find this exorbitant! will BOA ever lower this rate or should I get an introductory credit card with very low introductory rates and pay off my balance. I've been a customer of BOA for over ten years and believe I warrant some courtesy.

over charge
I HAVE CREDIT CARD WITH BANK OF AMERICA FOR OVER 15 YEARS.RECENTLY, THEY GAVE ME APR OF %8.00, AND CHARGED ME ANNUL FEE OF 18.00, I CONTINUE TO MAKE MY PAYMENT, I NOTICED THAT THE PAYMENTS I AM MAKING NEVER GOES FOR THAT $18.00, NOW THE $18.00 IS $48.00 AND THAT IS BECAUSE THY ARE CHARGING %18.99 ON THE ANNUL FEES.SO I CALLED, AND TOLD THEM I LIKE TO PAY THE ANNUL FEE IN CASH AND DO NOT WANT TO FINANCE THE ANNUL FEE, BUT THY TOLD ME YOU CAN NOT DO THAT.WHICH MEANS THE $18.00 WHICH IS NOW $48.00" BECAUSE OF HIGH INTEREST" WILL CONTINUE TO GO UP EVEN WHEN I OFFER TO PAY THE ANNUL FEE IN CASH.
THAT MEANS THEY ARE FORCING ME TO PAY INTEREST ON THE AMOUNT THAT I DO NOT WANT TO BORROW OR FINANCE?!
DO YOU THINK THAT IS FARE EVEN IF THE LAW ALLOW THEM?

Starting with a small amt to a big amt
I hate the fact that they would hold the pending transaction for 2 days it messes up my balance. I also hate the fact that they would clear big amounts first before the small amounts. Imagine if you have 6 pending transaction and another check is coming into clear and you don't have enough money to cover the pending one they will first pay the big ones before the little and charge you $210 dollars for that 6 transaction. $210 is going into their pockets. I hate Jonahtan Gilber #1580 He's the manager of customer service at Bank of America who will not reverse 1 nsf fee.

Overdraft fees and rudeness!
Bank of America is HORRIBLE!!! They de-linked my accounts without informing me; I went on vacation and after I came back I was astonished to see hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees!! They charged me international transaction fees, which overdrew my account (which was SUPPOSED to be protected by the linked account) by 8 CENTS, and I was charged a $35 overdraft fee. They continued to lay it on me and I received maybe 10 overdrafts in one day!! They hardly refunded anything and after calling them to complain about another incident, the customer service rep hung up on me!! (I was upset but was not cussing or yelling...)

I am PROMPTLY changing banks and I suggest that you do too! Banks should NOT be allowed to take your money without informing you first.
