Once you place an order with this site, they claim there's nothing they can do about it. I accidently placed an order before I was ready and immediately called to cancel it, but the person on the other end insisted that there was nothing she could do and it's too late to stop it. Even if you preorder something that doesn't come out for another month, it's too late to stop it. Amazon isn't like this. Buy.com isn't like this. Why is Barnes and Noble like this? Could it be that they have insanely high prices and don't want you to change your mind? Of course you can always refuse to accept the package and send it back to them, but you're still out the shipping costs.
