Hi guys, great forum. Hope i can prevent some poor guy or gal from purchasing anything from these! I placed an order on this website just over a week ago under the impression it was Uk based. Upon payment via paypal, i received an email saying " payment received by ****(am i allowed to print the Chinese guys name?). Also appears i've been given a false tracking number, in addition they've never responded to several emails. Doing a further search on the net i found another site called smartbright.co.uk which has EXACTLY the same layout as battop.co.uk and sells exactly the same products at the same prices! Upon further research by checking domain name, this smartbright company have lied about their location which can be found here : http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/staff/ann...ts/smartbright . Now, i've not ordered anything from this " smartbright " company so i can't comment on that. Anyone think that these companies are related please? Sorry about the long winded message, but i'm raging even though i've only lost £18. These companies specialise in batteries/cells by the way.
