I was severely overcharged for 5 calls. I called from a hotel phone; per the instructions on the phone I used the automated system. At no time was I informed of the rates, minimum number of minutes and connection fees. I only found that information out by calling the International Satellite Communications customer service number 1-800-608-0575 TODAY. The representative informed me that they have do not published rates. WHY NOT? Secondly he stated that I should have reached a live operator who could have given me the rates. AT NO POINT was I directed in their automated system to connect to an operator for rates.

Don’t bother with the Embassy, they are only there for emergencies and passports. Instead file a complaint against this company with the California Attorney General, the FTC or the FCC.

Connection fee $10-15 USD
Rate per minute $3.99-6.99 USD
