Ordered (through Amazon) a DVD of music group Pretty Things' "S.F. Sorrow" advertised and sold by Beaches Entertainment as "new." It's anything but new. There are countless scratches and other blemishes clearly are visible on the playing surface of the DVD. So, I e-mail Beaches Entertainment about the fact that they sold me a used DVD rather than the promised "new" copy. What do they reply?

"All our merchandise is purchased from distributors who only deal in new and sealed merchandise. They do not sell us used merchandise."

Amazing. Total denial. I am going to try to figure out how to take some digital photos of the obviously scratched DVD and in turn post them. If someone has some suggested camera settings for capturing the playing surface of a DVD please let me know - I am using a Canon PowerShot SD850is. What an absolutely pathetic retailer.

Ordered through Amazon. Debited my card, waiting 17 days, no arrival. Emailed them. No answer. Finally got my credit card credited before I reported them for credit card fraud. Total creeps. Never been ripped off by a vendor before.
