aweful service!
After 2 months of empty promises from expressview I cancelled . They NEVER fulfilled their end of the contract yet they can charge me 150$ to get out of it! Now, today after over 20 years of paying on time, the cut my phone off with NO warning! I am injured and have doctors appointments and medical things ongoing. Now no phone. They said I owed and thats why. I said I received no notice. Apparently that doesn't matter. They said pay it now and have service restored in 2 hours. I paid it and when I called back they said 2 to 24 hours. Nice of them to change it to a longer time so quickly. Further, I had to use my cell phone and be on hold forever, paying to continue to get their crappy service. God can nobody do anything with these losers!

poor customer service
Cancelled my cottage telephone in October '07. Got a confirmation number from a "customer servive" rep in India. I kept getting bills till March '08. Contacted bell to try and correct this-they said they have no record of the cancellation even with the confirmation number. The bill was now $293.00. After several calls to various depts they agreed the phone line was cancelled in the fall and we were due a credit 0f $149, leaving a balance of $144. This was paid in April through online banking. I have received letters and calls from a collection agency stating we owe their client -Bell- $144. I have called the collections agency to explain but they have no record of receiving money--because they didn't-it was paid to Bell once the bill was straightened out. When I call bell they forward me to collections agency as they say they do not have account anymore--because phone was cancelled? What am I supposed to do? I did without a phone at cottage this summer as it is a year since I cancelled it last year and is still not straightened out.

Service
Bell, what more is there to say. Service is terrible! Feed you lies and your totally helpless.
Telemarketer from the other side of the world calls tells me because I have high speed internet I can get the Performance Package for practically free. OK, I get it's a sales pitch but after speaking with him he tells me it will cost you around $10 a month more. So I accept.
The performance package it a computer to go along with your internet.
Anyway, I pick up the package and I find out I have no monitor. I call Bell and someone tells me, the Performance Package I chose does not include the monitor. "What!!" After calling several times, I finally get the monitor. Wait that's not it.
So, I open the box, set it up doesn't seem to be that bad. Then I get an invoice stating that this package is $20 dollars a month more, not the $10 a month I was told.
I keep calling to find out what's going on with no luck. I'm told I cannot get the package for $10 as I was told and because I had already opened the box.
I asked them to start an investigation towards the person who had originally contacted me but have never heard from Bell.
Now I'm stuck with this computer and paying the extra $10 for the next 3 years.
You are helpless, you can't go down and complain in person. Emily is annoying.
This isn't the only problem I had with Bell. I Tried their WIMAX for a 30 day trial, decided to go back to DSL before the trial ended so they charged me almost $700 dollars because I had cancelled the Performance package that I spoke earlier about.
I didn't cancel, BELL assumed I cancelled. It took them 8 weeks to get my money back.
The most frustrating thing that went on between bell and myself is during those 8 weeks I had spoken to several agents regarding my refund. I call one agent they tell me my charge card would be credited. After a week I didn't see any credit, I call back the next agent tells me that I will be given a cheque from bell. I wait a few more days call back they tell me by credit card will be credited.
Doesn't happen, I call back the next rep tells me to call my charge card they have the money and they can't release it until I call them "What the hell are they doing"
I call me charge card company, they tell me bell is out to lunch. No Kidding.
I call Bell back, the next agent tells me that bell hasn't released the cheque to me because it's being investigated.
FOR FUCKS SAKES!!
You know what I'm not even done, I'm tired of typing! I have too many other stories that I havn't even included.
JUST STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM BELL CANADA.
That is part of my "Total Bell Experience"

Final bill
Some many, many, many months ago, I returned Bell Canada's Tv/Cable receiver thru Purolator. Employees at the cable/tv department confirmed that they have received the receiver but still was billed for the receiver for the amount of $ 191.something which represents the amount of the receiver. I called them many many times about it. They said that every thing's Okay and that they will send me thru mail the final bill which is $0.00 balance. I told them that I need it to clear my name in the credit bureau. They said yes. It will be ready in 4 weeks time. After 4 weeks had elapsed, I called Bell Canada again but this time, I called the customer service. Again, they assured me that they will mail the final bill. I told them to check the final bill and the guy at the customer service said " nothing to worry as everything is $ 0.00 balance ". I asked them " how long will it take them to mail it to me. They said 4 weeks. Again, I waited for another 4 weeks but nothing came up. I e-mailed them a couple of times and a guy named Roy Aditi answered me indirectly. I told this guy " Is it the policy of Bell to Delay sending final bill if you opted out of Bell? Just imagine a bill is all I need. Is it hard for an organization like Bell Canada to send out a final bill to one of it's former client? Or they want me back again. Are they so desperate enough to use this kind of strategy. Is Bell Canada using lazy, incompetent, indifferent and do nothing guys as employees? All I need is my FINAL BILL, that's all.

Horrible, Poor service - Bell SUCKS!
Welcome to Bell...we want your money and all you'll end up doing is giving us more $$ and more $$$, a few headaches, Emily will annoy you and when you finally speak to someone who speaks English they will have to transfer you to a different department...you'll get disconnected and then start this process all over again!! Look at spend over an hour (minimum) to try and resolve the bs in the first place.
We had been customers of Bell for over 30+ years . Approximately last October 2007 I received my monthly statement showing an extremely high dollar amount that showed calls were made from other countries to Mississauga...we live in Muskoka. It was explained to me that I should pay the regular amount owing and the rest of the bill was going to the investigations department. A week later we recieved a disconnection notice. So, we call...being told to disregard the "notice" and that it is under investigation. This continues until June 2008 (10 months) with disconnection notices and hour (or 2 ) long phone calls.
Bell has cut 2500 jobs, fired Frank and Gordon, re-shuffling things at their end and I (just one sole customer) is getting the brunt-end of it.
We receive notice from Cogeco they are now in our area, keep your number and pay only $34.99 monthly for the exact same services we received from Bell (paying $81 a month) We jumped at the opportunity to end the waste of time and paper we were recieving almost weekly. Bell SUCKS!!!

Home connection and plus
In May 2008, we talked to a bell representative. because were moving from Ottawa to frankford ontario. He gave us a packaged for the new home phone + the express vue + internet "wireless with the antivirus" 3 months or 12.00$ and 119.00$ for 1 year and 129.00 for the second year. We agree with the plan and made arrangement for the connection to new house on the 31 July 2008. A week prior of the moving date, I contacted bell canada to make a change for the connection on the 1 of August 08 with a confirmation#... that I guess so they told me is no good for a reference. Anyway on the 31 of July, the Internet rep. came to the house since we were not ready for him we turn him down because first we did not have a phone and we were getting our furniture. On the 1 st of August we spent about 2and half hour on the cell phone in regards of getting our home phone connection + transferring to about 7 agent when my cell phone connection hang-up . Anyway they told us: No... this will not be possible because they are too busy... they will be there on the 6th of august. We waited all day on the 6th... nobody came. We call again... there is a problem with your phone lines, we have to send engineer because there is not enough phone lines for your area... How long this will take? It will be done by the 20th of Aug 08. OK!!! not to impress but I will wait. 20 of August, nothing. Call Bell Canada again... 2 hour later of fighting with the rep. we ask to talk with a Technical Rep. Which she told us the work as been done and someone would be at my house tomorrow to connect my home phone ligne up. 21 of august, finally someone showed up and it took him about 30 minutes... not even... and he told us that the connection were there but they were so bad that they had to change them. OK... this is not what we were told at the beginning of this... We were told that there was not enough connection in our sub-division because someone had 8 lines in there house and someone else had 5 connections and thats why we did not have one but now the story change!!! UMM!!! Anyway I got the phone today but I got an other issue with Bell. They had promise me with a wireless router + antivirus in my package. Well... I did not get it and I guess I will not get it anyway... We spent an other 2 hour and half with them..up to some manager... and they were not willing to help us out.. I just which it will happen to them and make them realize how frustrating this is. My dad is far away from me and he is very sick and the only thing I need from him is a phone call so When you don't have phone and even your cell phone doesn't work well it is very painful. I would like to suggest a better way of providing service so no one will be stock like it happen to us. Before heyou agree or any company offer you something to ensure you have it on paper or by e-mail that you are able to go back of what was offer to you... Also this miss representation from bell and I'm very disappointed by the way I was threaten. I was told that I was lying about the package... I would not spent 2 hour and half on the phone arguing if I was!!! They are the one that lie to me and in about 2 year from now because I'm stock!!! They will not see me again in there customer list for sure... They are the worse company that ever dealt with in my life. HO!! I was forgetting they were going to bill me from the 21 of July 08. Which on that date, I did not own a house yet, so go figure how mix up they are!!! Anyway I which someone up there will understand why I'm writing this and understand. It has been hell and its not finished I still have an issue with my cell phone but this will not last long as I'm done in September and I'm not going with bell again. I have friends in the same boat then us but it is worse for them. They are still waiting for there phone line and I guess as they were told it just need from someone to push the button at the main office at 54 kings St. Isn't that terrible when you have been waiting for over 3 weeks that the only thing they need to do is this and they will not do it... It just piss me off. I'm done with Bell.

Terrible customer service
If you are thinking of going with bell DON'T. I bought my cell phone so that i wouldn't have to be on contract. So they ask for a security deposit of 200$. I don't even have the phone a month and i am having problems with bell. I was not receiving my monthly statements so that i can pay my bill and get my SD in six months, but they don't have my right address it takes them 2 months to fix this. Now by this time i have returned the cell phone i bought 3 times. Each time the phone is worst than the last!!! So i cancel my service. Now i am trying to get my deposit back. I am lied to every time i call to find out about it!!! Oh it will be sent in 4 to 6 weeks (it did not) call back; oh you gotta wait 74 days (i did and still no check) i call back they say oh it has been mailed you should receive it the following week (still nothing) and now i was just told that i got to wait 14 more days.
Bell has the worst customer service ever! Apparently they get paid to lie to you!!! All their LG products sux (that might be everywhere though). This is when bell wants there money they charge you more and send it to the credit bureau. Yet when i want my money they keep it for almost a year and pretend to send it to you. If you want good service, good products and customer service BELL HAS NONE OF THESE!~! So save your time and money ppl.
I assure you BELL will fuck you over in so many ways.

Wrongfully Billed
I moved in Feb. 2007 and moved my Bell services with me, up to that time I had no complaint. The first bill in my new house was wrong! Each subsequent bill has also been wrong, numerous phone calls later we have had some credits issued but still haven't received all credits due nor have we been billed correctly. We finally decided to cancel all services with Bell, to our dismay we discovered a 2 year contract for Express View of which we were unaware. Since there is a $300.00 cancelation fee, we decided to stick it out, actually spoke to someone who gave us a credit long overdue and we cleared our account to $0, this was in June of 2008. Yesterday (1 month later) we discovered our channels were disconnected and we called Bell only to be told we owe $456.00, how this is possible I have no idea! I am also fresh out of ideas on how to fix this issue. I will never have any doings with Bell after my contract runs out.

Calling Cards
My parents have recently returned to Bell after a short association with another company. Bell was very happy to have them and their $100+ per month back. Everything was just as it was, with one big exception. When I call them using a prepaid long distance calling card (purchased from a reputable company) my call goes directly to a voice mail box that DOES quote their area code and number but ISN'T their v-mail box. My sister tried for days to get through to them from overseas and got the same phantom voice mail. Needless to say, if I dial directly the call goes through no problem. If I use the same LD calling card to call someone else, the calls go through fine, so it's not the card.
And we aren't the only ones that this is happening to. Friends and relatives have called and left messages, in some cases important messages, on the phantom v-mail. There's no indication from Bell that calls have been diverted and
Mum & Dad don't have access to that v-mail box so the calls are missed.
Bell keeps insisting that there is something wrong with my parents' lines or phones and have sent 3 separate repair people out to have a look. They didn't find any problem and reported such to their masters. Bell then informs my parents that their problem is fixed. It's still happening of course. When my parents called again today, Bell offered to send yet another repair person out, refusing to accept their that the problem is not in the house or admit they are blocking or diverting calls from pre-paid calling cards.
Has anybody else experenced anything like this? Can anybody suggest a solution?

Billing
I am outraged at how Bell Canada can continue doing business the way it does. I have been a customer with Bell Canada for about 18 yrs until about the last year. I have paid my account and if you go over all my bills they actually owe me money !!! When I called them to cancel my service because I am fed up with all the extras they keep adding on my bill like; internet, internet again, adding magazines to my satellite that I told them I did not want or request. So I cancelled anything I had with Bell which was satellite and home phone service. So.. to continue on with the story I called and cancelled my satellite and I received a final bill which was correct. I then received a bill 1 mth later for almost 500.oo. I called and tried to resolve the issue which included gathering all of my bills and my bank statements and faxing them and they still could not figure out the situation. The next thing I knew I was getting letters from the collection agency. They said they would not deal with the account anymore and gave it back to Bell Canada.
I looked in my mailbox today and what do I have: Bell Canada bills. My bills from 2007. So I called Bell this morning and I was patched over to a couple of women who where speaking in some other language other than english and they would not even answer me. By the way that was the 310Bell line.
I am soooooo not impressed. So, this is how companies are saving money eh. You rob our pockets and send our money overseas and give our jobs to people who can not even do simple math. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to resolve this with Bell canada customer service before it went to collections and now here we go again.
I will tell you one thing Bell has lost any/all of my business forever and I will make sure I let everyone know about my experience.
