I had bought a 2008 ford fusion august of 2009. I left that place feeling really taken advantage of due to my female status and that the staff was trying to lie about the warrenty they wanted me to buy. I declined and bought the gap instaed. Not after one year of having the car the break system goes out. My pedal hits the floor and I cannot stop. I finaly started pumping the brakes and it slowed down. I immediatley called an auto dealer who put in anew Master cylinder and bled the breaks. no help! I then took it to Haaris ford in lynwwod to get the ABS system bled and no luck either. They even tried to tighten the pedal. since none of that worked and 5 of ther employes could not figure it out they had to call the ford engineers. the recieved a message back stating that it may be the HCU unit but were not sure. The cost was 400.00 for the part and 375.00 fo rlabor. Now, this I should not be taking care of. I do not and for sure know the break system should not be failing after 2 years. Yes, i bought the car used and no i did not go with thextra warrenty. I then eas instructed to go back to Bellevue Ford and talk to them about maybe getting them to pay or talk to someone and again I got treated like a second hand citizen. tis is why i did not take my car htere for the diagnostic check. they are now also stating that now i need to pay them another 125.00 for them to take a look at it again. the company thinks it is the HCU and i am not throwing another 125.00 plus 775.00 fo a maybe. sorry, I need help!
