Company owes workers wages. refuses emails, phone calls, registered letters. They are now out of business. tried to file complaint with labor board however the company is in NJ I am in NC. They were paid for large military orders placed by a PX. I was to be paid sales commissions from that money. VP moved to Kentucky, Owners are elderly. I fell betrayed. I worked very hard for the company, the always were late in paying, then they stopped altogether, no pay for 4 months, only reason I let it go on for that lone was they held back a month, and always made promises or excuses as to when I could expect the pay. Yes many will say why did I stay, without getting paid. well I love the work & was made promises, other sales reps are owed 6 to 8 moths in commissions from the same company it was a military contract and we had no reason to believe the company didn't have the money, as sales reps we knew the volume of the orders being placed.
