I purchased an English bulldog puppy from Big Love Puppies/Vickie Alvord on November 28, 2009. I was told that I would receive the AKC registration papers within 5-6 months. In April 2010, I began calling and e-mailing Ms. Alvord to inquire about the paperwork. I never received a return phone call or e-mail, not to mention never receiving the registration papers. In my last e-mail to Ms. Alvord, I told her that I would file a lawsuit for misrepresentation if I didn't receive the registration papers by July 1, 2010. When I went online to inquire about submitting a complaint with the BBB, I discovered several complaints and articles about a puppy scam that she and her relatives have been involved in. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A PUPPY FROM THIS WOMAN!!! She cannot be trusted. I have also had to spend well over $1, 000 in vet bills just to try to get my bulldog healthy.
