Near dead and missing flowers
Ordered flowers for my friend's 65th birthday. The flowers arrived almost dead with a couple of roses missing. They also promised iris in the bouquet and that wasn't there as well. Bloomex has the worst customer service. They provide several phone numbers on their site which seems to go to voicemail. I called several times and was unable to speak to a live person. I left messages and no one returned my call. I also sent email but yet to receive a response.

I am disputing some of the charges with my credit card company. You are guaranteed disappointment by ordering from this company.

Dead flowers
My son is traveling overseas & send me flowers for Mother's Day. The flowers arrived early, which was okay. But they were moldy & the roses fell off the stems when I tried to pick them up. I took pictures & emailed them to Bloomex. To date - no response! I would not recommend using this company!

CROOKS!!
Where to start?

I live 12 hrs away from my mom, and every year, order her Mothers Day flowers to her place of employment in Armstrong, BC. I phoned 2 days ahead of time to ensure her flowers would be delivered on the Friday before Mothers Day weekend. And, just to be sure she receieved her flowers before going home from work on Friday, I paid EXTRA for a morning delivery. I chose the 'Joyful and Thrilling' bouquet.

Well, guess what? Nothing came. I felt horrible!! My poor mom receieved nothing for Mother's Day! And the story gets worse. I phoned and phoned and talked to countless customer service agents. I was given the run around, my phone calls were never returned and I was literally hung up on countless times. I used the online customer service agent and was just disconnected. My emails were never answered. Finally, one did return my call and the next week they sent flowers. The WRONG flowers came and they were DEAD!! Once again, I was given the run around, hung up on, and no one returned emails or calls. I can't even tell you how many phone calls or emails I have put in to the company. They make damn sure you can't get a hold of anyone, and I think they hope people will just go away if they ignore them long enough.

Almost 1 month later, flowers were going to be resent in place of the ones for Mother's Day. Well, they didn't come on the day they say they were going to, and worse yet, they are once again the wrong flowers and dead! My Mom said they looked worse than the first batch! WTH is going on with this company? They are the biggest scam artists out there! Are they getting flowers out of a dumpster? I am serious, what are they doing? It's like they are sitting in a box for a week before they get to where they are going. And why the wrong flowers? Are they buying florists flowers that are on the verge of dying for a discount and using those? I just can't figure out how they can screw absolutely everything up!

I am a real person telling a real story here. I have seen on these blogs that some people say some of these complaints are maybe the competition? Well, I am just a woman out 70 dollars and I have a Mother who received squat on Mother's Day. (My order # was 809777 and I am happy to show anyone the transcript between myself and the employees..I want everyone to be warned and know this is a legit story! )

I take solace in the fact that my mom works in Armstrong at a plant (Colonial Farms) that employs just under 100 people. I know everyone seen those flowers and knows the story behind a week late delivery which turned into a month, 2 wrong orders and 2 dead batches of flowers. You know what they say about bad service...one person tells 5 people and so on...This company just lost out on a lot of business! I intend on writing my story on every site I can so no one else has to go through this. Not only am I out money, but the sentiment was ruined on a special day.

I emailed the company after my second dead batch came and they told me there was nothing they could do. They claim they did all they could to fix the problem and that my VISA would NOT be refunded. Like I say, this company is horrible in absolutely every facet. From the dead flowers, the wrong flowers, being treated like I am a dirtbag because I want an explanation, the lack of customer service, being hung up on numerous times, and basically just ripped off...it's just unbelievable!

My advice is order right from the store in the exact town you want them delivered to! It might seem like you are getting a deal online but believe me, there is no deal to be had! Go to the florist store yourself, or at least phone the store yourself. These big companies who supposedly give you deals just don't exisit. I wish I would have done my research. It is way too easy to get scammed, I know I sure got duped!

Flowers packed upside down
Ok, I am the recipient of almost dead flowers, packed upside down, leaning against the door in the hot sun. It was a very nice surprise to find the flowers - but when I asked why no one had answered the doorbell I was told that no one rang a doorbell.
So the iris arrangement was crushed, with some flowers broken off. I was on the phone within 10 minutes and had the same non-response as others. One week later I am still waiting for someone to contact me - despite my daily emails and online =chat discussions ("someone will contact you").

I feel really bad for my girlfriend who wanted to surprise me on my birthday. Bloomex will be spread across my email network as a company to avoid.

Dead flowers
Since I was going to be out of town for the days immediately preceding Mother's Day, I ordered flowers for my Mom on April 30. When I googled "florists, Penticton BC, Bloomex was one of the first ones to come up. I chose a bouquet and ordered the flowers be delivered on the day before Mother's day. She received the flowers the day after Mother's day and they were half dead and flattened, some broken. We were both surprised that the flowers had come from a Vancouver florist and had been shipped by truck to Penticton, a 6 hour drive away. When she told me, I contacted Bloomex by e-mail through their website and waited. When I received no response I had my Mom e-mail me pictures of the damaged bouquet and I forwarded them on to Bloomex with another message. Again no response. I phoned them and, of course, got voice mail saying they would call back in 24 hours. 48 hours later still no response, so I e-mailed again and phoned again. After the May long weekend I received an e-mail apologizing and stating that they would replace the flowers. A week and a half later, when she still had not received the replacement flowers, I e-mailed again, then I called again - then I called AGAIN. Finally a representative called and said they hadn't sent the 2nd bouquet because I hadn't responded to their e-mail. I pointed out that np where in their message did it say that I was to respond, it simply said they were replacing the flowers. period.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from my Mom saying the replacement bouquet had arrived. It is half the size of the original and when she unwrapped it most of the petals fell off the flowers and some were actually rotten. When I contacted Bloomex they said that when the first order was unsatisfactory I had the option to reorder or obtain a refund. No one offered me this option. They now refuse to refund my money.

Bloomex mgmt has posted on other websites saying that their competitors post all these complaints - well I am not a competitor - my confirmation number was 805669 - I am just one of the many people Bloomex has not served satisfactorily. I strongly urge people not to deal with them, they are unscrupulous!

Delivery of flowers
Bloomex is a florist that comes up when you do a google search - florists name of city (eg: florists Kelowna British Columbia) - it will come up no matter what city you put in DO NOT USE THEM.

Here is my experience:

On May 26th I ordered flowers (order # 815497) to be delivered to my granddaughter who had been seriously injured the week before. The flowers were to be del’d to Kelowna General Hospital. I never received an email confirmation of my order. I sent an email asking for a confirmation, no response. Later that afternoon I called and changed the delivery to her home in Maple Ridge for delivery the next day (Tuesday May 27th).

I confirmed the flowers were NEVER delivered. I sent another email today re this; both emails were sent to [email protected]. I requested that a credit be sent to my Mastercard account number and asked for confirmation by email.

On Wednesday May 28th I rec'd a t/c from 'Caroline' shortly after sending the above email - I told her I didn't want the flowers any longer as it was moot - after a few phone calls and checking, Caroline advised me on Thursday May 29th that it was a '2 day delivery' for Maple Ridge - I was never told that; in fact the guy who took the order on Monday afternoon commented 'we get a lot of orders for Maple Ridge'. In any event even by that policy you were already late as that should have made delivery the latest on Wednesday May 28th.

Caroline also advised she could not 'stop a delivery in transit' - I questioned how that could be when here it was Thursday morning (3 days later after the order was placed) and the flowers still weren't delivered. Again I said I DID NOT want them and I wanted a full credit. Caroline said she would get back to me - she subsequently left me a message saying the flowers were in transit, would be delivered that day (ie Thursday May 29th) and I had a choice to refuse the delivery in which case I would get a credit but HAVE to pay the delivery charge or I could accept the delivery and I would get a credit for the delivery charge.

Well guess what, the flowers were not delivered until Friday May 30th, 5 days after the order was placed. While I appreciate not being charged for the 'delivery' I question that more of a credit is not being issued to me after all the hassle I have been put to. I even explained to Caroline that the reason I had to call and place the order by phone was that when I tried to do it online it kept increasing the number of items, i.e. I ordered 1 vase and 1 teddy bear; as I would go to the next screen it would be 2 vases and 2 teddy bears and even tho I would change them back to 1, the next screen would have them at 2 and of course the cost of 2 for each of those items - I finally gave up and phoned in the order.

I have NEVER had so much trouble trying to order flowers online, NEVER had so much problem getting flowers delivered (if this were for a funeral parlor the person would have been long gone from there) - to say I will never use that company again is an understatement - I will be sure and 'share' my story with as many people as I can.

Today (June 2nd) I rec’d a confirmation email, that the flowers had been delivered and looking forward to doing future business with me.

Flowers and gift basket
I purchased flowers and a gift basket from www.bloomex.ca for my mom for Mother's Day. The flowers and basket arrived 4 days late, the flowers were the incorrect order, half of them were dead and the other half didn't open. The gift basket treats were cheap and had the wrong card attached to it. When you call the service center you only get an answering machine that tells you to leave a message so your issue can get resolved quickly, what a joke...it's been over 2 weeks now and my mom has been waiting for someone to pick up her dead flowers at the office with everyone watching out for the MIA pick up man, how embarrassing!!! We would just like to warn people that if you would like the correct order and flowers that aren't dead not to do business with this company! Save yourself the frustration and disappointment!

Non-delivery
I placed an order online with Bloomex for a flower delivery for my mother for Mother's Day. I knew she'd be thrilled and surprised and waited impatiently all day for the excited phone call from her. Much to my dismay, she never received the flowers at all. I tried to call Bloomex to see what had happened. The 1-800 customer service number has no customer service. The message recording suggests going to their website and emailing them or leaving a phone message and "someone will return your call within 24 hours". I left a message and also sent an email. No one ever returned my phone call. I did get a reply email the next day however with confirmation that my flowers WERE delivered (a day late mind you). 3 days after they were supposed to be delivered, my mother still hadn't received anything. Again, I sent an email. I received a reply (very hasty reply - no apology or "thanks for contacting us" just a quick note that read "see attached" and they had attached a ripped out page from a delivery person's log showing my mom's address and a barely-readable "left on doorstep" scrawled beside her address. There was nothing else on the paper. No company name, no delivery person's name. Not even a delivery date!!! How is this proof of delivery? I emailed again telling them that I wanted a refund as the delivery was never received. They told me they can only offer refunds if I returned the product and that it's "up to the delivery person's discretion" as to what to do with a delivery if the recipient isn't home. I emailed (yet, again) explaining that for one thing, the recipient WOULD have been home had the delivery been made on the correct date. But that not only had the delivery been made a day late, what type of delivery person would leave flowers on a door step to a huge apartment complex like the one my mom lives in? So either they were delivered and someone took them (which I blame Bloomex for for leaving them in an unsafe manner) or they weren't delivered at all. I advised Bloomex that if I didn't receive a refund I would contact the BBB. Of course they don't seem to care. Do not order from this company!! It's not even the money. It's the principle. They have no regard for their customers. No customer service whatsoever. This company is a complete scam. I'm spreading the word wherever possible.

Worst service ever!
Do not buy here, It is the worst service online ever!! I ordered 12 red roses for Mother's Day. I paid delivery time 12 -5pm. Flowers were delivered almost 9 pm and there were 8 red roses and 4 yellow!! What on earth some serious company would do that. Customer service doesn't work, they tell you to send email to wecare@bloomex... but They never reply you. The guy on the phone doesn't have any good response.

Worsttt ever!!!

Switch in candy order
We ordered flowers and chocolates, Hedghog chocolates. That was fine. We paid on Visa. The delivery came and they substituted Alcohol chocolate covered Cherries. My wife has cancer and is taking chemo therapy. She cannot have alcolhol. And anyway, no where on the order form did they have that chocolate. She wanted the ones we ordered and had been so angry, we don't even know anyone to give them to that she threw them away, what would you have done in this situation I ask, and so we sent an email and got no satisfaction for the order yet. If they are going to switch an order they should call and get permission first, in case of allergies too. Maybe they will read this and do the right thing for my wife. She is still pissed and will not let me order through Bloomex again. Her mother in law got hers correctly from them.
