Don't Waste your Money
This was the worst experience I have had with an flower company. I attempted to order flowers for Mother's Day to be sent to my mom and mother-in-law. Both were completely wrong from what was ordered. I tried to have my mom's corrected and redelivered and they never showed up. I had to call back to find out why they never showed up to receive a call later to say they could not get what I ordered. Not flower company that delivered the wrong thing actually came back to my mom to pick up what they delivered! Who does that!!! My mother-in-law's was also wrong but I was only able to get half off because if they gave me a full refund the flower company would be coming back to pick them up! Blooms Today ruined my mother's day gifts to my mom and mother-in-law. I will never order from them again!!!

Rip off
I went online to order some flowers to be delivered on a very specific day. Blooms Today failed miserably. First of all, the ad was misleading. I was looking at one price, when in fact I had to join a club (read the fine print) in order to get the price. I ordered the flowers and not only were they NOT delivered on the day they were supposed to be delivered (and I gave plenty of time) but the next day, they coudln't even get hold of the people they sub contracted to do it!!When I called repeatedly, they kept telling me that they couldn't reach anyone and what would I like to do? I told them to cancel everything, which they did. When they finally got hold of the driver, he said he delivered it the next day, which I accepted. They told me that they would give me the agreed upon price and not join me in their club. On my credit card bill, not only did they charge me full price, but they added an additional $9.99 for that month (March) and also did it again on my April statement. I have filed a dispute, but will never do business with them again. They do not deliver what they say they will.

No delivery
Feb. 11 I ordred 2 arrangements one for mom, one for sis to be delivered Feb. 13. Only ONE arrived (go figure), so I called "customer service" today at 8am Valentines day and was told by Blooms Today they would be delivered TODAY. Its 10pm and still no flowers for my 72 year old moms Valentines gift. I will never use online "florist" again.

charges
I called and emailed Blooms today 9-2010 to cancel my subscription. I also tried their online cancellation with no luck. They however contine to charge me that $9.95 every month. I call my cc and filed a complaint with them and that was no help. After spending 10+ mintes on hold today I finally get to speak to someone, but that time I am a bit frosted as my time is very valuable. I again asked to cancel and asked why it had not been done when I called and emailed back in Sept 2010. The woman claimed they had no record of my call or email and refused to refund any of those past charges. Furthermore the flowers that I sent through them arrived in less than wonderful condition and cost me a fortune! Even though on checkout it was only to be $19.95 to which they added several other charges that appeared on my cc statement but were not displayed at the time of checkout. What is it going to take to stop them from doing this to people? Thanks!

Taking money from my account
I purchased flowers on-line using my debit card in December. I got a notice that they did not send them to NM. They refunded part of the payment and then proceded to deduct $9.99 from my account then and again in January.

poor service
I ordered the flower a week before my best friend's birthday, and got the confirmation.
However, I did not get any notice (delivery confirmation or cancellation) on that day, and
obviously did not hear anything from my friend.
It turns out that the flower was never delivered and they didn't even bother to notify me.
Their service is very poor and the way they handled the conflict was absolutely unprofessional.

SCAM!
Do not use this service - they use unethical practices to promote a service that’s really of no benefit at all. I had ordered flowers for a funeral back in June ’10 and I’m still having to trouble with them cancelling the $9.99 fee to my account. I’ve gone as far as to have them blocked from my account, yet again this week they attempted to apply the charge. I called the office today (12/3/10) and the “customer service” rep was not only rude but hung up on me – how’s that for customer service. These people really shouldn’t be in business.

Hidden Charges
Yesterday I purchased flowers online. It offered 50% off flowers for new customers. Even though my receipt stated that my card was charged $37.73, my bank account reflected two charges of $57.73 and $9.99.
Then I received an email today that said I had enrolled in a rewards program and would be charged $9.99 per month.
I called Bloomstoday and left two messages for a supervisor named Catherine. The rep was rude and said she wouldn't credit my account and if I cancelled the membership, I would be charged the full price for the flowers. This is a scam. They claimed the membership fees were clearly posted online, but it wasn't. Here is the latest email:
Dear sean faustina,
Thank you for contacting our Blooms Rewards customer care center. As requested, full refunds of all Blooms Rewards membership fees have been credited back to your account including the initial $9.99 fee to join for the first 30 days and receive all membership benefits. As outlined in the Blooms Rewards terms of service, any customer who chooses not to be a member and receives a full refund of all membership fees including the initial $9.99 fee join is not entitled to member benefits. Member benefits include the 50% discount received on your original order for joining.
Once your membership is cancelled you will no longer receive the $10.00 savings off your future Blooms Today orders and will not be eligible to re-enroll in the program for 12 months. Members are limited to one 50% discount per lifetime as stated in our terms of service.

So I am getting $9.99 back but still paying $57.73 for a $19.99 plant. What a rip-off. That's what I get for trying to throw some business toward a "family-owned" florist. Next time I will stick with 1-800-FLOWERS.

Cancellation of order without contacting me and leaving me with nothing.
I ordered a plant to be deilivered the following day to a friend who lives in AZ. Bloomstoday took my order and the next day (the day they were supposed to deliver) they unilaterally cancelled my order and claimed they tried to reach me. Each rep I spoke to had a different story as to why the order was cancelled (no florist in AZ could deliver it, it was more expensive than they anticipated, etc.) and although I never received a phone call, one rep in particular insisted they had called me and blamed me for the mix-up. I never received a call-as my phone call log confirmed. I finally spoke to a manager who admitted they did not deliver because the plant was more expensive than anticipated and said the local florist never called them back (not me). The confusion had my mind spinning. I contacted the local florist directly who told me no one ever made the official order and just questioned the price. They never received a call that was not returned either. Bloomstoday agreed to return my money (which remains to be seen at this point-no credit yet) but would not send something complimentary to my friend, as it was their error. They claimed they satisfied their 100% guarantee, but I do not agree. They never sent anything so rightly I am due my money back. They should have sent something since the whole mix-up was admittedly their mistake. The best part about this whole mess was that they genuinely do not care. There are too many options out there for long distance floral deliveries and BloomsToday should feel the pinch of bad business practices and customer service. I will never order from them again and will encourage others to patronize other websites.
