ON THE CH.4 DOCUMENTARY THE TERM “maternity nurse”, a title which is not recognized by the NMC, is misleading and irresponsible in reducing trust of midwifery. a baby cannot control its body temperature properly and advising parents to leave there newborn in the garden for hours alone even if crying, and alone in the crib without regular checks is damn right dangerous let alone the social aspects of no contact for a newborn.

The fact she claims the title of maternity nurse in connection with a midwife background is misleading and i fear this program may be putting parents at risk of harming their children through ignorance and un-qualified advice, the NMC are also outraged and clearly something has to broadcasted to repair this damage within the media.

Please please chase up this programme on its ethics to repair the damage of the so called childcare expert including her qualifications from a governing body on her current methods of practice.
