classic bait and switch
I ordered a LCD television for $2900 USD shipped. Called to confirm order as e-mail requested. Arrogant man on phone tells me I bought the "overseas" package of the television-plugs not made for USA, no warranty, etc.... USA package for my TV was $600 USD more! plus shipping fees. I asked how this was possible and he lectured me on the World Wide Web being made for the world not just the USA. I asked him where he was he said he was in New York. My account, which I had to make to finish the "purchase" clearly shows me living in the USA. These guys are clowns and not to be trusted. My question is how these kind of sham online establishments can get 4.5 stars on the comparison shopping sites. Someone needs to get it together. DUE DILIGENCE folks!
